Foodiedumonde's Reviews

Sophisticated Southern and Gourmet Country are great ways to describe the cuisine at the charming Mack & Kate"s Cafe. Named after two sisters, MacKenzie and Kathleen, our family owned and operated establishment will make you feel right at home. Started in a small, sleepy town, Mack & Kate's humbled beginnings took place in a small service station. This charming little destination dining spot grew over eight years, resulting in the Strawn Family relocating Mack & Kates to Franklin, TN. We enjoy seeing our friends from our early days and our new friends here in Franklin. We use the freshest and finest when it comes to our ingredients and always support local farmers and growers. We pride our self in our accommodating and knowledgeable service team and the ability to consistently feed our customers what they are looking for; the freshest from the best.

"My wife and I went to Mack and Kayes for our anniversary and were very pleased. It was our first time to go there, and we were charmed by the cozy atmosphere and really enjoyed our food. The meatloaf was excellent, as were the green beans. Our server was attentive but not intrusive, which is a rarity these days at most restaurants. She allowed us to enjoy our meal at our own pace, and we enjoyed everything we had. Overall, we had a very good experience at Mack and Kates. We will come back in the future, and we would recommend it to our friends."

Voted Denver's Best Indian Restaurant seventeen years straight, Little India Restaurant offers a unique experience in authentic Indian cuisine in a comfortable and friendly environment. Located in downtown Denver, half a block from the 16th Street Mall, and two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center and Denver Performing Arts Complex. This charming and colloquial establishment sits in an unobtrusive lot, quietly waiting to surprise guests with a bold mix of exotic flavors. The simple exterior gives way to a pleasantly adorned interior setting that feels warm and intimate, replete with tasteful selections of Indian artwork.

The lunch buffet is an all-you-can-eat experience, featuring appetizers, curries, masalas, vindaloos, specialty dishes and more all for the incredibly modest price of $9.99. In general, the Little India Restaurant is a very moderately priced destination, allowing guests to indulge in the sensational tastes of India without breaking their banks.

"My wife and I go to at least one Indian restaurant in every city we visit. Because we eat Indian food at home and have a favorite Indianrestaurant near home (Bombay Bistro in Cool Springs), perhaps I am spoiled. That having been said, I was not impressed with the quality or variety of offerings at Little India Restaurant in Denver. The food was OK, though, especially for the price. I would recommend the buffet to the budget-minded diner, but only if there is not a better alternative for Indian food in the area."

We know from experience that there's nothing more satisfying than that first bite of a truly great pizza: the crunch and chew of the perfect crust, the sweetness of the sauce, the earthy aroma of basil and the salty taste of fresh mozzarella that lingers for just a moment on your tongue.

At Marco's we want to bring that feeling to you, which is why we've worked hard to bring you the best ingredients, like Antico Molino Caputo flour, San Marzano tomatoes from Italy and the freshest locally grown produce. Our pizza makers are trained and certified by the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napolitano, and we bake our pizzas in handmade brick ovens from Naples.

For us, the reward is in the results. Taste our efforts and see if we don't have you dreaming of warm Neapolitan nights, no passport required.

"We met friends at Marco's for pizza and really enjoyed it. We had friendly and prompt service througout the evening. It is great for adults and kids. Excellent pizza and local beer. We will return the next time we are in Denver if we have the opportunity."
