Inspired to create a casual Italian restaurant in their own neighborhood, the culinary team behind Washington, DC’s award-winning Ristorante Tosca opened the doors to Posto, “a modern Italian place to meet,” in December 2008. It is located in a beautiful, century-old building (which at one time was a car dealership!) on the newly re-energized 14th St. NW – right next door to The Studio Theater, and just steps away from P St. and its hubbub of activity. As a proud new addition to the Logan Circle neighborhood, Posto serves classic and modern Italian dishes, and is the perfect place to drop in for a cocktail and a quick bite, or a multi-course meal shared with friends. A custom-built, wood-burning oven located in the back of the dining room entices guests with the smells of just-baked Neapolitan style pizzas and focaccia.

The restaurant is also noted for its international wine list, innovative cocktails and intimate, plush dining room. A tradition to many La Jollans, this Italian bistro serves fresh authentic regional Italian cuisine. A landmark Ficus tree takes up one corner of their very popular patio, but the bright and cheerful dining room is delightful during the day or on those chilly evenings when it’s too cold to sit outside. The menu is presented in an innovative and creative fashion offering a wide variety of pastas, pizza and grilled items. In addition, you may find many vegetarian and health conscious dishes. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday and includes specialties such as Uovo Benedetto (Eggs Benefits served on grilled polenta with basil hollandaise) along with omelets and breakfast pizzas.

Located on Prospect Street in downtown La Jolla, it’s obvious why Roppongi Restaurant & Sushi Bar was named a “World’s Top Restaurant” by Zagat Survey and is a recipient of Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence.” Roppongi’s bold menu invites guests to share dishes and try a mélange of flavors in a relaxed, upscale and intimate setting in one of San Diego’s finest neighborhoods.
