This grand Victorian saloon is on two levels, with four distinctive bars, including an oyster bar, and six dining rooms. Open for dinner til late in the evening, it is the perfect spot before or after a Verizon Center event, movie or the theatre, and is open for lunch and dinner daily, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch. Be sure to check out our newest addition, The Alley Bar, on your next visit.

"We have eaten many times at Clydes. We always find the food delicious, well prepared, and interesting new items appear on the menu from month to month. However the service is somewhat spotty depending on what server is assigned to the table. On this occasion the food started coming before the drinks and we had to ask a separate server for help as our waitress seemed to have disappeared. Other than that, the meal was excellent and the availability of Paella on the dinner menu was too good to resist. This is a five-star meal."

Zaytinya offers an innovative mezze menu inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines, under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés, served up in a sleek and modern setting. Shared small plates, creative cocktails and unique Mediterranean wines make this spot one of DC’s top dining destinations.

"We have eaten at Zaytinya several times and know enough to make a reservation a week in advance due to its popularity. We are also always pleased when outdoor dining commences as inside can be very noisy. We ate outside this time and enjoyed a wonderful quiet meal and some extra heat from the lovely tableside heater. The crispy brussel sprouts are irresistible as is the red pepper dip. Both outstanding. Each dish was tasty and well prepared. The service was excellent and fresh warm bread appeared as soon as the previous basket was emptied. All in all a superb dining experience. We also love the wine selections."
