Located in the heart of Harlem, Red Rooster serves comfort food celebrating the roots of American cuisine and the diverse culinary traditions of the neighborhood. Named in honor of the legendary Harlem speakeasy, Chef Marcus Samuelsson brings his passion for food to the neighborhood he calls home.

"I can't rave enough. Totally worth a visit. (FYI, the 2 and 3 train stop right there). Everything we had was drop-your-jaw delicious. From the drinks (No Doctor and the Glogg) to the mounds of food we ordered... The Mac n greens, the duck three ways, the shrimp n grits... Just can't make a wrong choice. Btw, duck is my husband's favorite. We have tried it at a few reataurants only to be disappointed. It was succulently done here. We took home what we couldn't eat and it was still amazing as leftovers. We did not get the Swedish meatballs but we saw many people ordering them and they looked delicious. Next time we will get those."
