"Had been meaning to try 8 North for a while but decided it was time when Restaurant Week rolled around. Had 3 course prix fix, appetizer of hummus, tziaki (sp?) flat bread, olives and feta, nice size for an App. Tziaki was excellent. Main course of Bronzino ( white flaky fish) served on a small plate w some potato and cauliflower. Well prepared but on the small side portion. Maybe if it wasn't restaurant week portion would have been larger ?
The only disappointments were the choices of wines by the glass and the pumpkin ice cream for dessert. Ice cream did not taste like pumpkin, it really didn't taste like anything much. Service was good and seating was comfy. Nice bar where many patrons were dining. Will try again from regular menu.

"This was our 4th visit and possibly the last, def. on a Sat. Night. Granted it was crowded but the service was not only slow it was in attentive. It was like they couldn't figure who was waiting our table. We had an 8 pm res. our dessert order wasn't taken til 11 pm and by our 4th waiter who did not understand enough English to bring us the correct dessert. Although the food was excellent and well prepared when you are spending$400.(4people) for dinner you expect good service. Maybe it was an off night. We will try it one more time. Hoping this potentially great steakhouse gets it's act together."

Please visit our website to learn more about The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges http://www.theinnatpoundridge.com/

Chef Jean‑Georges introduces his latest venture, a casually elegant restaurant ensconced in the picturesque town of Pound Ridge, New York. Here, Jean‑Georges cultivates a truly seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and New England, whenever possible. Constructed in 1833 as a residence and serving later as an inn, the building has been painstakingly renovated to preserve as many of the original materials as possible, including four working fireplaces. Thomas Juul-Hansen designed the restaurant’s interior with a modern yet rustic sensibility; zinc and marble accent stone and reclaimed wood. The restaurant’s lighting, artfully conceived by Hervé Descottes, employs paper shades and Edison fixtures to create warmth throughout.

"No, No room at the Inn for improvement! Everything we dined on at lunch was excellent from the homemade ricotta with cranberries and olive oil served with crostini to the hanger steak sandwich with goat cheese and arugula served with a side of shoestring fries. Dessert of raspberry sorbet and pumpkin ice cream were both excellent but the only disappointment was the size of the scoop, little more than the size of a golf ball -really. We had heard that the service here was aloof and stuffy but we did not find that and in fact thought everyone was friendly and most welcoming. Going to definitely return for brunch and for dinner soon. The Inn at P.R. Is a must in Westchester Co."

"Stumbled upon this neighborhood gem cruising Open Table for a place we've never been. When the owner came around to introduce himself and welcome us, we found out that Sangria had only been open a week We ordered almost every tapas on the menu all were all very good Remember theses are very small plates if you are expecting loads of food tapas is Not for you! table next to us ordered paella regular menu, was a large platter looked delicious. We also ordered 3 desserts (party of 4) the bread pudding was amazing so was the flan, thick and creamy. The Sangria was great lots of liquor and well fruited. The only disappointment was they did not yet have the fried donut w chocolate sauce for dessert listed on the menu, we will have to return :)"
