Its namesake – the famed Cordúa Churrasco steak - sparked Houston’s Latin American revelation 25 years ago, and the flame is still burning strong at Churrascos.

The tantalizing menu mixes up native Latin ingredients with the unexpected for a culinary line-up that is as artful as it is delightful, including bacon-wrapped shrimp taquitos, ethereally light angel wings, bahia grilled chicken, yuca fries, and, of course, the award-winning Churrasco – voted one of the best 20 steaks in America by Esquire magazine.

Churrascos is the official caterer of the Houston Texans.

"This is the second time we've visited this restaurant, the first time for lunch and now for dinner. The food was excellent and the service immaculate. The restaurant can get quite busy so make reservations, and parking in City Center is always a pain so use the Valet. Our appetizers (the provoleta especially) were excellent and I've only tasted better in Buenos Aires. The meat is very tasty with the exception of a bit too much smokey flavor for our liking. Our friends had the Bife de Chorizo and they raved about it, as well as the general ambiance. As the place gets full it can get quite noisy, so try to get a table on the perimeter. I would highly recommend this place if you want a true South American experience. This place is great."
