"Every once in a while you get a perfect evening. The food, drinks, setting, &company. This was one of those nights. Everything was delicious. Two appetizers, 3 entrees, a bottle of wine and 2 desserts. The service was very good. Excellent knowledge and spot on recommendations."

Ardeo+Bardeo, located in the historic district of Cleveland Park -- four miles from the White House -- is a neighborhood favorite serving modern American cuisine. The restaurant underwent a major renovation in November 2010 to enhance the modern bistro and wine bar, uniting the two restaurants with a 24-seat island bar. Executive Chef Nate Garyantes has crafted a menu which features cured meats, soups and salads, savory snacks, seasonal vegetables dishes and brick oven baked flatbreads. Ardeo+Bardeo has become a virtual “Who’s Who” of Washington. Those who frequent include Madeleine Albright, Jim Lehrer, Alan Greenspan and the former first family, the Clintons.

"Great find. Terrific menu. Something for everyone. All Loved the Brussels sprout dish. Even those who aren't vegetable fans. Specialty drinks were noteworthy and refreshing. Went early due to 2 kids in the party. Had a booth in a corner and all went well."

Osteria Morini pays homage to the casual and rustic cuisine and ambiance of the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. Osteria Morini is a casual Italian restaurant from Chef Michael White. In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests, and at Osteria Morini, Chef White continues this tradition of hospitality, transforming his first Washington, D.C. restaurant into an authentic, old-world osteria with soulful food from the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy.

"The appetizers were the best part of the meal! Vibrant scene on waterfront. With outdoor seating. We did not wait to be seated outside. The service was mediocre. Wine was spilt. A miscommunication in one of the meals (corrected satisfactorily). Would have ordered another glass of wine if came by to ask before meal was essentially done. Plates were not cleared in a timely fashion. (My pet peeve) long wait after meal was finished for check."
