Ruby's is a brilliant gem in downtown Rye. It is chic, casual and comfortable. It charms guests with its varied menu, friendly and professional service, and its lively ambience. Ruby's stylish décor showcases an authentic zinc bar from Paris, beaded chandeliers and ruby red drapes. From its coffered ceiling and tasseled sconces down to its marble mosaic floor, no precious stone has been left unturned.

Conveniently located across from Lincoln Center and a startling revelation in shiny black lacquer, Shun Lee exudes Asian chic with grand authority.<br>For haute Chinese cuisine, it’s among New York City’s best. Regional offerings include crispy Grand Marnier prawns with honey walnuts (Canton), braised sea bass in hot bean sauce (Hunan) and shredded beef with leeks and hot peppers (Szechwan). Specialties include beggar’s chicken baked in lotus leaves and clay (requires one day’s notice), Hunan tripe, sweetbreads with black mushrooms and of course, Beijing Duck.

"Tucked away on second floor of boutique hotel Lowell, the atmosphere is very precious. The food was okay but the waiter does not quote the ridiculous overcharge. The. Cheddar cheese omelet was recommended with herbs. ..it was a special not on the listed menu. When the bill arrived the omelet was $18 and the cheese was another $8 and the herbs were another $8. never saw that before!"

La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Oversize iron sconces custom made from antique wrought iron gates punctuate the walls, and artful displays of antique farm tools mixed with various authentic Italian photographs all add to the farmhouse appeal. The 250-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy with few of the best American and the rest of the world.

Circo offers upscale Italian fare built upon a foundation of signature Tuscan recipes from the kitchen of Maccioni matriarch Egidiana and prepared by Executive Chef Alfio Longo. The menu is served in a lively, sophisticated setting reminiscent of the old-style European circus tents which inspired the restaurant's name.<br /><br />"When we opened Circo in 1996, our business plan was simple, Dad's Hospitality, Mom's Food, run by the sons."<br /><br />Bright blue circus rings suspended with gold stars, sculptures of monkeys swinging near overhead, playful clowns dancing above the open kitchen and a ceiling hung with tapestries & trapezes all reinforce the vibrant circus theme.

The concept of the “hotel as a home” extends to the restaurant as its casual family kitchen. Inspired by the casual, simple elegance of modern dining, Jean-Georges has created menus that emphasize fresh, locally produced ingredients, served in a sleek and sophisticated setting. <br /><br /><br />A destination restaurant with four distinct experiences: an intimate second dining room featuring a fireplace, a heated outdoor seasonal Terrace with city views, an enticing Bar and a sophisticated Dining Room. The full menu is available in all areas of the restaurant. <br /><br />The Outdoor ( Seasonal ) Terrace and Bar are on a first come first served basis. <br /><br /><br />Please be advised that parties of seven or more are subject to an 18% automatic gratuity.

Delivering the bounty of the eastern shore line to the Upper West Side is Ed’s Chowder House, a new restaurant by Chef Ed Brown (chef/owner of Michelin Star-rated restaurant eighty one) and China Grill Management.
