The Flint Hill Public House & Country Inn combines a full-service fine dining restaurant, a traditional pub and four luxury suites in a newly renovated building that retains its historic charm while offering modern comfort and luxury. The Public House has served as a schoolhouse, a residence and as a restaurant and inn for more than 100 years. Situated on five picturesque acres in beautiful Rappahannock County, Virginia, we are an hour's drive (60 miles) west of Washington DC. Surrounded by vineyards and small shops, we are a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

"FHPH is a great little restaurant out in the beautiful country. The staff, to include the manager and head chef, are accommodating and extremely personable. It is about a 25 minute drive from Warrenton, VA. We have been there three times in the last three weeks! Brunch is awesome. This last visit was for Steak night. Super reasonable prices for the specials. And I like that they offer a large selction of VA wines on the wine list."

Laporta’s restaurant is the ideal place for extraordinary food in a casual, comfortable setting. Laporta’s has an attentively serviced contemporary dining room perfect for a romantic evening out or any other special occasion, combined with an adjoining intimate Jazz lounge. Relax and listen to the live jazz featured nightly. The lounge has the warmth and friendly feel of a local’s bar yet with the same excellence of service and consistency of food quality that defines our dining room and exemplifies the restaurant as a whole. The menu features inventive fresh seafoods and hearty pastas complemented by the provincial-style desserts of Margaret Laporta.

"GREAT STEAKS..AWESOME SEAFOOD" - The Warehouse has consistently been highly rated by the nationally known "Zagats Dining Guide" and is one of the most popular restaurants in Old Town. Specialties include their famous All-Lump crab cakes, Lobster Linguine Pasta and their huge 20 oz Grilled T-Bone Steak. Their Sunday Brunch is a "must do" in Old Town and reservations are recommended for this popular meal.

"We received great service and delicious appetizers and entrees, even when the visit was during Restaurant Week. I have always been a fan of RTs and saw some of the same options at the WH. When I first walked in, there was a strong aroma of seafood. My sister politely reminded me it was the seafood special. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. My only concern...the bartender may have been new. I ordered a cosmo from the bar menu which listed Absolute and Cointreau. I freaked out a little when he poured Bowmans and Triple Sec. When I corrected him, the bill came with an upcharge on my drink. When I pointed this out, it was fixed. I will probably never order a cosmo again at any restaurant unless I can see how it's made!"

"Sometimes restaurants treat you a little different when you dine during restaurant week. Il Porto had a nice selection of entrees and came through with the traditional Italian selections and atmosphere. I have food allergies and the waiter was accommodating in switching out the RW dessert selections for something I could eat. This restaurant has been around for a long time and it was nice to see that it was there and offered good food."

Located in the heart of Old Town in the historic Crilley Warehouse, OVERWOOD is a wood-fired American kitchen and bar featuring modern interpretations of traditional classics. As the name implies, our kitchen is built around hardwood-fueled cooking (grill, oven & smoker) and we will use only the freshest and finest ingredients in every dish.

"Overwood is a nice change to dining on King Street. The staff is friendly and helpful. During restaurant week, we received a great meal at a great price. The food was flavorable and just the right portion."

"So...this place is amazing. We went there for Sunday brunch on the way to a nearby winery. This is my second trip to Flint Hill Public House for brunch. I have enjoyed both visits. I liked what I ate both times. Reasonable prices and adequate portions. First time we sat inside and this time outside. There was a jazz player and the weather was perfect. It was a clean and bright otudoor eating area and the grounds were impeccable."
