According to Zagat, Suckers for sake swoon over the "hidden jewel" near Grand Central offering a "mind boggling" selection of rice wine "categorized by region", as well as an "understated, quiet" setting reminiscent of a "private club"; those in the know say it's "secret location" (in the basement of an office building) make it better.

Alvin & Friends offers contemporary cuisine with Southern and Caribbean influences in an elegant and sophisticated space; the dining room features dozens of stunning, Matisse-inspired oil paintings created by owner Alvin Clayton, part of the restaurant’s signature look. Alvin & Friends has been Zagat rated 26 for food, 26 for décor and 26 for service, and was named by Westchester Magazine as one of the “Best of Westchester” in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Voted "Best Fried Chicken in Westchester" and described as "By general consensus, New Rochelle's dining room" (Westchester Magazine.)

Owner Jacques Loupiac presents a taste of Provence at La Panetiere. The cuisine is contemporary french, and the dishes change with the season reflecting upon products purchased from market-gardeners, fishermen, free-range poultry farmers, and other purveyors who deserve the respect of their authentic products.

We take pride in every plate we serve. Our cuisine is made with the hightest quality ingredients on earth. The inspiration in our dishes comes from from the classic Taleggio cheese itself. The orgins of Taleggio cheese can be traced back several centuries. The full rounded flavor of this ancient historic delight is what embodies the art and taste that can be found in every meal on our menu.

From the same team that brought you Woo Lae Oak in Soho & Los Angeles, Bann is a unique, interactive dining experience featuring authentic Korean cuisine with a modern flair.

Unleash your inner chef at Bann and add an element of sizzle to your next evening out! Choose from a variety of authentic Korean barbecues prepared in our signature marinade, including beef short rib and thinly sliced rib eye, all cooked to perfection at your own smokeless tabletop grill. Or dine on traditional favorites like the black cod simmered in a spicy garlic soy reduction. For the adventurous diner, Bann creates a sharing & tasting experience to take you and your companions on a culinary tour of Korea.

"Meat was good, but a bit pricey for what you get. It is midtown, but still. Weak banchan. Not bad if you are in the area, but there are definitely better options for Korean BBQ if you are willing to travel a bit."
