The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish.

No one wants to get lost at sea, but those who have a taste for fun do enjoy long visits in our Framingham restaurant. Beach yourself in our dining room for seafood or make waves in our lounge.

Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.

We’ve received a boatload of accolades including “#1 Best Seafood Restaurant” (USA Today, 2013), “Most Popular Boston Restaurant” (Zagat, 2012/2013), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Improper Bostonian, 2010), “Best Chowder” (Boston Magazine, 2010) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.

"So glad to write this review. We are frequent diners who have been less frequent as things were "slipping" at this wonderful place. We had a great dinner (6 people) with each of us commenting on how well the meals were prepared. We all loved the Bang Bang Cauliflower. Summer cocktails and Sangria are welcomed changes from the wine list. Each dish was prepared as ordered and presented hot. Chocolate layer cake and Key Lime desserts never disappoint."

If there is a single food that can represent Argentina, it is beef. The rich grassland plains, the pampas, rest in the shadows of the Andes and feed the people not only their wheat and corn, but also the grazing land for the cattle and sheep. Argentine beef is highly prized for its flavor and tenderness. It is our wish that at Tango you will experience a bit of Argentina and enjoy this authentic and unique cuisine. Buen Provecho!

"We booked dinner pre-theater and all agree we will return for another fun and delicious meal. From the warm greeting (on a stormy evening) to dinners end staff was knowledgeable and helpful. As suggested the empanadas warm and flakey. The bacon wrapped dates were memorable. Steaks were seasoned well and grilled to perfection. Flan with dulce con leche was fantastic. On street parking and easy to find, we highly recommend Tango."

"This was our first time dining at this restaurant located next to The Four Seasons. The dining room is lovely. We asked to be seated at the window table which looks out over the Public Garden. The maitre'd gave us the table knowing that we would complete our dinner before the expected reservation party arrived. Wait staff is well-informed and attentive. We ordered from the special Dine Out Boston menu. Mussels with pistou had great flavor. Recommended wine was a great choice. Flat-iron steak was much too salty. The dish was immediately whisked away. Both the waiter and maitre'd apologized and confirmed my opinion. A beautiful new steak quickly appeared and I was thanked for helping the kitchen. Great desserts. Wonderful time."
