Enjoy a fantastic culinary experience and unequalled skyline views through two-story windows high above the Potomac River. The contemporary interior features chrome, glass, suede, and wood with accents of granite. Check out the critically-acclaimed Sunday Kitchen Buffet Brunch. The Roof Terrace Restaurant & Bar is located on the Roof Terrace level of the Kennedy Center above the Hall of Nations.

"Then you might consider dining there for the convenience of parking and being able to move directly to the theater after dinner. If you recognize it for what it is - a place that has to get a lot of meals and drinks out in a short time - you won't be disappointed. You won't be thrilled either. The food is good, but relatively pricey compared to higher rated restaurants."

Guardado's serves up authentic, flavorful dishes from Spain and Latin America, in a casual and inviting atmosphere, in the heart of Bethesda, Maryland. We now offer Brunch on Sundays

Chef Nicolas Guardado and his wife Reyna opened Guardado's Restaurant in 2007. Guardado brought with him a wealth of experience, rising through the ranks at local-area tapas restaurant Jaleo to a seasoned head chef.

Now, he is infusing that knowledge into his own restaurant, as well as adding some popular Latin American entrees and some traditional dishes from his native Salvadorean background to Guardado's extensive menu.

"Lunch or dinner it is a comfortable place to dine for a large group or just a couple. The ceviche is second to none and you may be lucky if they have puposas that day. The service is attentive in this family fun restaurants and the tapas-nature of the restaurant relieves the pressure of having to schedule the delivery of the courses. I have been going there many times since it opened years ago and have rarely been disappointed."

Welcome to Bistro St. Michaels. We create food that is rooted in traditional culinary styles, yet modern. We source the highest quality local ingredients, purchase sustainable seafood and free range eggs, work with people who raise their animals naturally, as well as partner with local farmers for the best organic vegetables. All of this comes together under the hand of Executive Chef David Hayes, a native of England whose “creative American” cuisine is prepared with a European flair. Many of our items are already gluten free or can be served gluten free. Thank you for taking the time to dine with us.

We hope you enjoy our inspiration.

Rob & Caroline Pascal, Owners
David Hayes, Executive Chef

"A St Michaels fixture under new management, but the room remains essentially the same. The menu reflects a mixture of traditional bistro fare and Eastern Shore seafood. Service, if anything, is overly attentive. The French toast and the gravlax are two excellent choices, as is the unusual but delicious duck quiche."
