Mon Ami Gabi is a classic French bistro and steakhouse. The traditional menu features classics such as the warm Onion Soup Au Gratin, Roast Chicken grand-mère style with mushrooms, bacon and pearl onions, as well as the trademark Steak Frites. At lunch, we offer lighter fare including crêpes, quiches and seasonal salads. Come in Saturday and Sunday for our weekend brunch, featuring a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar!

Free food is just one text away! "Mon Ami Gabi has rarely disappointed me. I have dined there more than 20 times and the food and service have always been good....and when on the rare occasion it was not up to my expectations, management promptly dealt with the problem. There are standards on the menu as well as daily specials and the wine list is extensive. The bartenders are knowledgeable and can make almost any cocktail. It is a great place for a party of 4-6 diners, because there is something for everybody on the menu. My favorites are the steak and pomme frites with selections from their raw bar as an appetizer."

Sleek, yet traditional steakhouse conveniently located in the heart of St. Michaels. We serve hand carved steaks, local seafood, upscale appetizers and all-American classics. Shorts & boat shoes welcome!

Our delicious cuisine, style and service can also be experienced during catered events held at our facility. Make it an evening to remember at "Theo’s Loft". The loft can seat up to 36 people for plated dinners, and up to 50 for cocktail receptions. The perfect space for intimate wedding parties, rehearsal dinners, corporate dinners as well as social gatherings.

"I have been dining at Theo's since it opened and eat there at least once a month. It is owned by the same management as Ava's, the wine bar and bistro several doors away. The menu concentrates on local seafood and steaks. The service is always friendly and attention is paid to preparing the dish exactly as you requested. Choose oysters on the half shell, a rib eye steak and a bottle of wine and you can't go wrong."

"Le Philosophe is a small restaurant, but does a great job in combining classic French cooking with newer ideas. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The service was attentive and relatively formal for a small place, but it does justice to the food which is prepared in an open kitchen and presented to your table seconds later. Dishes that we particularly enjoyed were the frogs legs, marrow bones, and the veal dish. Oysters from either East or West Coast were presented in classic style on a bed of seaweed with perfect mignonette. Note that there is an extensive wine list, which is moderately priced, but there is no hard liquor license. We definitely would return to dine if in lower Manhattan for the evening."
