"The place is nothing fancy, but the service is very good. The food is very decent as well. Had calamari, it was very good (not the best Ive had, but good). Could use a better stronger marinara to go with it. Partner had the chicken with lemon, very tasty, juicy and tender. I had the seafood fettucini, it was also good. Desert was good, but I don't think it was made fresh there."

Bobby Van’s Grill marks the return of the powerful New York City chop shop to the downtown D.C. area but with a new twist. This eclectic New American Steakhouse now boasts a slightly more casual family friendly atmosphere as well as catering to the Washington politician. This 536-seat D.C. destination is fully loaded! There’s four private, intimate and upscale dining rooms with their own bar and bar services. Two 40-foot long bars can be found with friendly bartenders serving strong drinks and even stronger conversations. The main dining room boasts views of both New York Avenue and the plush marble atrium of the adjoining building amidst its beautiful water fountain. This is an ideal place to meet for power lunches, family gatherings and late night dinners in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

"We go here quite a bit, and we tend to always order the same thing each time. Went a bit braver and ventured away from the usual steaks - went with Shrimp Diablo and Fried Chicken. We didn't regret either choice as they were both fantastic."

"The staff was very helpful, the food was fresh and fragrant. We were there well ahead of the dinner crowd, so there wasn't one yet. But that gave us more time to really enjoy the meal. We had the hot pot, and it was a blast making our own Pho! And Im a real fan of garden rolls, and we had two orders! The server was helpful and took his time to help us through the process as well as answer our questions along the way. We will be back."

Le Grenier - attic, in English - is a space to enjoy French Cuisine with a great wine selection or craft cocktail in a vintage attic décor, a cozy atmosphere with intimate ambiance on the vibrant H corridor. Chef Thierry Sanchez offered a menu of French dishes with frequent changes that reflect the seasons.

"When I first reserved a table and then realized where they were located, wasn't sure about going. Had a voucher we wanted to use, love to use them to find new restaurants. Le Grenier was well worth the trip, no concerns with the location. Handed over the voucher and service was first class. The food, was so delicious. Prior to eating there wasn't sure I would go back, now that we have tried their menu, we will be going back as often as possible. The apple crepe appetizer was wonderful, the mushroom tarte great. Dinner of chicken - succulent. Dinner of steak, very good. But the topper - the desert, total heaven. Others need to take note that this is how you treat someone who uses a voucher! You have made a repeat client out of us!"

Internationally acclaimed Chef Richard Sandoval combines traditional culinary techniques with fresh, high quality ingredients to create authentic Mexican comfort food at El Centro D.F. Designed to reflect the bustling street shops and colorful rituals of everyday life in Mexico, the restaurant is comprised of three distinct dining spaces all under one roof. The Taqueria features a casual atmosphere where a lively open kitchen serves authentic favorites. The Tequileria allows guests to dine or lounge as mixologists craft Latin cocktails from 200 Tequilas & Mezcals. Along the rooftop guests raise a glass at two open-air bars. Warm, Latin-inspired service and welcoming hospitality will round out your experience.

"Have been here a few times, this was the first time to be seated right at the front kitchen area. Not sure if this is meant to be the bar area, but it felt like it from the service point of view. I usually avoid sitting in bar areas as the bartenders and servers tend to get distracted by the volume of drink orders they take care of and as a result diners get overlooked or forgotten. That happened quite a bit tonight. A problem I have not had in the downstairs dining area.
Wrong food, wrong orders even after correcting the server. Its like she just wasn't paying attention at all."
