This energetic Thomas Circle restaurant serves innovative American cuisine, with Italian influences from our Chef Luca De Marchis. Because we use locally grown ingredients, our menu changes frequently, keeping the choices fresh and seasonal. The ambience is inviting at any time of day; watch the "early birds" at Thomas Circle in the morning, sunbathers taking a dip in our pool after lunch, or a beautiful sunset at the end of the day. Sip a glass of champagne or a cocktail by candlelight on our Poolside Terrace and make a wish while watching the stars over Washington, D.C.

"Got a post card in the mail promoting locals to try them for Brunch. So we did. Made a reservation without a problem and were very promptly seated upon arrival. This is in a hotel, so expect hotel type food. Overall the variety was very good and the quality of the majority of items was excellent. Fresh egg / omelet station. Sliced beef. Chowder. Salad bar with plenty of varied choices. Breakfast and lunch items, most looked great a few looked passed over. Desert options was huge! All in all very good. My one MAJOR compliment has to be the service! While in a very short line for the omelet station, a manager offered to start my omelet as well as bring it to my table when completed so that I could enjoy the rest of the buffet. Now that's service! My one MAJOR complaint... When brining out food to replenish a station they tended to put it on top of what is there. That means two things - the food on the bottom is getting older and its freshness is noticeable if that option gets down low enough for you to be stuck with it while awaiting a new loading. Food should be cycled to be sure its ALL fresh please.
But, again, all in all, for a hotel buffet and Sunday Brunch I found it worth the cost, the service was great, our Mimosas never went empty!"

"We have been to Ping Pong Dim Sum in Dupont many times, especially for lunch (love the "box" menu). We have been a couple of times for dinner, but not being experts at Dim Sum found it challenging. This time we had a Living Social deal which made it easy to just sit back and enjoy. And that we did. Our server Huber did a great job of taking us through five courses (yes five!) of dim sum and made sure we knew what each course would include and when they arrived what they were. We enjoyed nearly all of it, but really enjoyed this approach to trying some items that we might not have tried on our own. We have found some new items to add to our like list here! Thanks Huber for taking great care of us."
