"This former Ubuntu restaurant space was always such a beautiful setting for a restaurant with the stone walls and high ceilings, and it still is. What an impressive, yet warm setting!
The food was so incredibly flavorful -- the deviled eggs are comfort food yummy, but with a foodie twist that makes them a must-have. The gazpacho had all right moves to be a favorite gazpacho except for the excessive salt -- I couldn't finish it because of the saltiness. And, same for the rabbit ravioli -- amazing flavor except again, the saltiness was overwhelming. The lobster rissotto however was perfection!
I highly recommend Torc...but hope they will just use a pinch of salt instead of the entire salt shaker!"

Marlowe is a market driven neighbourhood bistro housed in a rustic-chic and inviting space. Bright and bold flavors from a three-star chef, and a little family history create an exciting new restaurant concept nestled in San Francisco’s slick SoMa neighborhood. Marlowe was created by restaurateur Anna Weinberg along with a few partners and pals.

Offering a menu of classic bistro favorites with unique and flavorful twists, Marlowe Executive Chef Jennifer Puccio, who earned three stars from the San Francisco Chronicle for her cooking at Cortez, created a mix of snacks, appetizers, mains and sides made up of the kind of food she loves to eat when she’s not working.
