Meritage takes the unique approach of matching wine and food by offering small and large plates paired with specific wine characteristics.

From world-class cuisine and an unmatched wine cellar featuring many library selections, to warm hospitality and the urban sophistication of our dining room overlooking Boston Harbor, we offer guests a unique and memorable dining experience.

As one of New England's few Forbes four-star restaurants, Meritage awakens the senses, stimulates tastebuds and inspires guests for an evening of fine dining.

Led by Chef Daniel Bruce – founder and captain of the Boston Wine Festival - and Manager and Wine Director Nicholas Daddona, Meritage offers a diverse menu of wine-friendly food that showcases New England’s changing seasons.
Gordon and Fiona Hamersley have owned one of Boston's most popular restaurants for 20 years. Hamersley's Bistro serves contemporary, full-flavored French/Mediterranean food in a relaxed environment. Located in the fashionable South End, Hamersley's is adjacent to the Boston Center for the Arts and its' affiliated theaters and galleries. The historic brick building, which originally housed a piano factory, has been transformed into one of Boston's most comfortable dining atmospheres. The dining room has butter yellow walls, exposed beams and a view of the open kitchen so diners can watch the chefs work in their brightly colored baseball caps. There is also a cozy bar, where neighborhood regulars gather for food and drinks, as well as a large patio for casual summer dining.

Gaslight is a French Brasserie celebrating our 4 year anniversary and our Boston Magazine award for Best French Brasserie. Starting in early spring, we have a wonderful heated patio, which is offset from all traffic and enclosed to create a romantic atmosphere. Inside, we have a full bar, 100% French wine list and free parking. We serve dinner nightly and brunch every Saturday and Sunday morning. We were voted "Boston's Best Brunch 2012" by Boston Magazine.

"Food has definitely lost it edge. Main attraction now is just the ambiance and free parking."

"Think they just miss the price/experience value point. The food was very good and scenic view is excellent, but they put too premium a price on it."
