Critically acclaimed chef David Burke focuses on locally-sourced, modern American food presented in the whimsical style that is his trademark. His menu emphasizes the highest quality vegetables, sustainable fish, beef and game birds. The restaurant’s spaces are designed by James Beard Award-winner Thomas Schlesser. The Treehouse Bar features seating that offers a birds-eye view of the bustling street below. There, you can enjoy handcrafted cocktails with pizzas, flatbreads, spreads and homemade sweet and savory snacks. Downstairs, the loft-like space is divided into a bar and dining room. The open kitchen and glass-enclosed wine cave allow guests a peek behind the scenes. Burke’s theatrical style is reflected in the carving station, where meats are carved and whole-roasted fish, lobster and casseroles are plated in the center of the dining room. David Burke Kitchen’s unparalleled outdoor space, opening in time for spring, has its own bar and seating for 130.

Set on the ground floor of the vibrant boutique hotel, Archer New York is the inviting yet industrial David Burke fabrick. <br />From the Latin ‘faber’, meaning ‘artisan’, fabrick’s moniker is a nod to the brick & mortar facades of the historic Garment District, the bricks of pink Himalayan salt that line Chef Burke’s patented beef dry-aging room, and to New York City. <br />Guests may gather under the airy skylight or in hidden pockets at intimate tables to sample from the modern American menu emphasizing sharing and seasonality. True to form, Chef Burke's fabrick menu will feature a variety of playful yet polished dishes ranging from snacks and small plates, vegetarian & classic American dishes to hearty entrees and indulgent desserts. <br />Guests may imbibe in a refined cocktail and some light bites in the Archer lobby’s Bugatti Bar. Sidle up to the lounge for a pre-dinner aperitif or, in the warmer months, relax outside in the hotel’s outdoor patio with a signature cocktail.

La Bottega is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, as well as drinks and appetizers. <br />The Trattoría, located on the north side of 9th Avenue has a full food and bar menu, and has a wood burning oven for delicious pizzas. The Caffé is located on the south side of 9th Avenue and has an additional bar and Caffé food menu. The outdoor patio has two sections- the Trattoria side for dining, and the Caffé side for drinks and lighter fare. During the colder seasons the perimeter of the patio is enclosed for greenhouse seating. <br />Reservations are accepted for the indoor dining room. During the summer, the outdoor patio does not accept reservations; walk-in guests are seated.

"I've been here a bunch of times and always love it but this time it fell short. They had run out of the one dish I wanted, the service was very slow and everyone seemed a bit distracted. I guess everyone has off nights."
