Almond, an American bistro located in New York City’s bustling Flatiron District, combines the best of farm-to-table cuisine in a casually elegant atmosphere.
Co-owner and Executive Chef Jason Weiner offers a menu of accessible dishes that put market-fresh ingredients center stage. Classic Almond dishes include Steamed Black Mussels with Shallots and White Wine and Roast Chicken with Hand-Crushed Potatoes and Natural Jus, while a list of “plats du jour” range from Roasted Whole Fish to Heritage Farms Porkchop to Rack of Lamb.
Our wine list, handpicked by co-owner Eric Lemonides, offers an affordable selection of wines from regions across France and California. A specialty cocktail list, New York state craft beer selection, and raw bar selections are all available, along with our entire menu, at the restaurant’s spacious 20-seat bar.

Private dining spaces are perfect for larger parties and a hidden European-style billiards room adds to the restaurant’s charm.

"We had reserved a table for 4 persons, and then a friend decided to join us spontaneously. The staff was very friendly and accommodated all 5 of us on a nice table. The food was good - we ordered rather common things such as burger, omelette, Mac and Cheese- everything was fine. The coffee and the mimosas were good too, the waiters friendly... Overall a very nice Sunday brunch!"

Candle Cafe West combines delicious, organic, vegan cuisine with gracious and knowledgeable service. Just as the sister restaurants, Candle Cafe and Candle 79, on the east side have done, Candle Cafe West lovingly crafts “food fresh from farm to table." They also offer an intimate organic wine and eco-cocktail bar. The Candle’s passion is to sustainably create scrumptious, vegan cuisine and an unforgettable dining experience. All of which will have the conscientious foodie coming back for more.

"I went there with a friend for dinner and we had delicious, very tasty food!! We ordered specials with tofu, shared an appetizer and a Mexican chocolate cake. The wines we got were good. I liked the vegetarian menu that contains healthy food, but not diet food, so you can actually enjoy it there and don't feel like you are in a diet spot. The atmosphere is nice, it became pretty full fast... Only the waitress seemed a bit arrogant - no need, it's a great spot, I recommend rather be proud you work there;)
Overall, I'd totally recommend this place, along with a reservation if you have a particular date/time in mind.

Le Parisien is the go-to neighborhood bistrot for Murray Hill, offering classic French food like steak frites, escargots and moules marinieres, paired with a well-edited list of french wines.
Chef Johnathan Masse brings his expert knowledge of comfort food, having most recently served as sous chef at the Waverly Inn, and also for Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto. Along with owner Christian Merand, formerly of Jean-Claude in Soho, they have created a restaurant that focuses on serving consistently great traditional food with a lively and unmistakeably French atmosphere.

Also open daily for lunch and brunch on weekends.

"We love French food and wine. This bistro is perfect because it is not expensive and has a great offer for that price. Nice atmosphere. Reservation for evenings required because it's small and only has a few tables."

Blaue Gans meaning "blue goose" is Chef Gutenbrunner's reproduction of an authentic Austrian "Wirtshaus" in his own Tribeca neighborhood. Blaue Gans serves seasonal authentic Austro-German dishes with wonderful beers and wines. The perfect neighborhood spot for friends and families.
