House of Big Fish and Ice Cold Beer is all about the experience. Casual environment in a relaxed seafood house setting, all small plates menu, sustainable fresh fish, healthy farm-to-table offerings, and a large beer selection including great local crafts, specialty cocktails and boutique wines.

"We used to love this place, but haven't been for over a year. They did a slight remodel to the restaurant and changed their menu. It seems they "upgraded" their selections and also raised their prices. We went for Mother's Day lunch and knew we'd have a tough time parking (the lot under Big Fish was full, but we were patient and found a great spot at a lot behind Big Fish.) Big Fish honored our reservation with no problem. Service was friendly and good. Food and drinks were good, but no longer a great value. The lobster and crab quesadilla appetizer was delicious - at $13 or $14 it is certainly a splurge. A plain burger (with no fries/sides) for $11 is very pricey. The view is still wonderful, so for a special meal we'll likely be back."

"We needed a spluge date night, and my husband goes to a Capital Grille for work in several locations, so he suggested it for the two of us. It was nice - relaxing and good food. We enjoyed our cocktails in the bar. Our reservations was honored promptly and we sat in a small room just off the entrance. Our server was adequate, but not amazing ... we asked for recommendations, but he just pointed to popular items on the menu. We did enjoy the calamari (which we selected); huge portion - we took 1/2 of it home. By the time I ate some bread (great) and the calamari, I was pretty full. So I knew my demonico steak would be going home. The steak was good, but not the best I've ever had. Overall the evening was nice, but not amazing."
