"We've thoroughly enjoyed Tryst every time except last night. The food, despite one in our party who didn't care for her entrée, was just great as usual. All of this was disappointingly marred by snarky comments from waitstaff throughout our visit. Also, he didn't seem to communicate to us what the host (manager?) offered us.
The pork under a brick was awesome. Just perfect. One of my guests enjoyed her Tagine, although I thought it lacked some depth and not a trace of ras el hanout or preserved lemon, but that's my opinion. Paring it with Israeli couscous was a pleasant accompaniment, however.
All in all Tryst is a great find. Hopefully we don't have the same experience with waitstaff as we did last night."
