Coined as an "American Gastropub" by owner and Head Chef Kent Monkan, the Heirloom Tavern offers its customers the finest food and greatest company Long Island has to offer. Some of our main courses include Painted Hills steaks, potato-crusted Chatham cod, and fettuccine lobster carbonara. Stop in for drinks or dinner!

Diners should be aware there is not an a la carte menu for parties of 5 and larger. A 5 course Il Menu Del Posto and an 8 course Captain's menu are available for these parties. <br /><br />Del Posto respectfully requests that gentlemen refrain from wearing shorts, sandals, sleeveless shirts, and baseball caps. Most men choose to wear jackets, but jackets are not required. <br /><br />Del Posto welcomes younger guests ages 6 and up. Strollers are not permitted and high chairs are not available. <br />--<br /><br />Del Posto is the first Italian restaurant in almost 40 years to be awarded 4 stars from the New York Times. Del Posto is the ultimate expression of what an Italian restaurant should be. We can best be described as an evolution of cuisines, menus, service, and ambiance that have characterized the history of the Italian dining experience in this country.
