At Palio, we are looking to provide a warm and exciting environment that makes a patron feel welcome and satisfied. We want those who come to the Palio to anticipate a fine dining experience in a comfortable setting. Our Mission is to deliver that experience with professional style and grace through the presentation of unprecedented food quality. The Palio equestrian theme derives from the infamous, centuries-old Palio di Siena horse race which began in the mid-17th century. The restaurant comfortably seats 100 upstairs and boasts a 24-seat full-service lounge at street level. Private parties up to 60 may be booked in a spacious room complete with a full bar upstairs. Most of the menu is seasonal with the spectacular wine list including many local selections. Pasta, breads and charcuterie are each prepared fresh daily in-house.

"Palio was the perfect spot for a holiday dinner with a close friend. The wine list was perfect; we were placed where we could enjoy the authentic décor of the place; take in the view of downtown Leesburg and yet be isolated enough to where we could have a great conversation. The food truly was excellent. The sauces could compete with any restaurant on Mulberry Street in New York.
The salmon was fresh and tender. The risotto was the perfect texture.
The service was very helpful it was difficult for them to gauge when to check on us and when to leave us alone, but it truly was a great mid-week experience.

In April 1999, Restaurant Nora became America's first certified organic restaurant. This means that 95% or more of everything that you eat at the restaurant has been produced by certified organic growers and farmers all who share in Nora's commitment to sustainable agriculture. Nora always offers seasonal, fresh organic food, prepared in a healthy, balanced way and enjoys a "big following" of environmentalists and politicians, who can eat here with a clear conscience, knowing that what's on their plate hasn't polluted the environment, is healthy for them, and tastes good too. Nora offers a special chef's tasting menu, which is perfectly accompanied by a spectacular choice of wines from our award winning wine list, featuring over 100 exceptional wines from small wine producers. <br />

"We reserved a late evening dinner for two for my friend's birthday and they made it very special from the very beginning with the top of our menus "happy Birthday Emily" to allowing her to alter her items on the tasting menu with items on the general menu. The service was excellent and knowledgeable about the organic menu and "special" cocktails.
The food was wonderful nicely proportioned and very flavorful. I truly recommend it for your next special occasion"
