Recipient of the Coveted AAA Five Diamond Award and Forbes Five-Star Award, KAI, meaning 'seed' in the Pima language, features a menu rich in creativity, history and Native American culture. Executive Chef Conor Favre and Chef de Cuisine Joshua Johnson incorporate the essence of the Pima and Maricopa tribes and locally farmed ingredients from the Gila River Indian Community to create unforgettable masterpieces. KAI maintains a smart business casual dress code. It prohibits hats, denim, T-shirts and shorts for both ladies and gentlemen, including open-toed sandals for men. Dress hats for ladies are acceptable. As a courtesy to other diners, refrain from using cell phones and laptops in the dining room; all audio visual equipment are prohibited. Thank you in advance for respecting this as an elegant and discerning adults-only fine dining environment, recommended for guests over the age of 13.

"The experience at Kai is always incredible. The food changes, sometimes slightly, but always exciting and always fit for a foodie. The service is always top of the line. The only reason for four stars on ambience is due to the curtains being closed in the early evening because of the direct sun (which is hot!) Once the curtains open it is spectacular!"

Our modern approach to fine dining offers the guest a list of daily ingredients, the diner crosses off any ingredients they do not like, and the kitchen prepares a seasonal menu, avoiding dislikes. This seasonal approach to dining creates an interactive experience for those guests who choose to sit at the counter. The Chef's counter surrounds the open kitchen. If you would like to book a counter reservation please make note of that when making your reservation. We can accommodate groups of 4 by using the corners of the counter<br /><br />If you do not see the time you wish to book available, please call the restaurant.<br /><br />**PLEASE NOTE** We will happily make considerations for your dietary restrictions with proper notice, so please note this when you make your reservation.
