"Fantastic cocktails and fun to watch the talented bartenders make the beautiful drinks, though the bartender didn't have a warm or inviting personality and took quite a while to greet me and take my order.
I have found this to be true at many Italian restaurants but I liked the starters and pasta more than the entrées. The truffle polenta with poached egg was perfect. The alla amatriciana was very good, rich and unctuous bursting with flavor if slightly greasy and not the pasta cut I would have selected. The scallops were good but overly sweet (really need the squeeze of lemon juice to cut sweetness) and lacked a balance of texture. The first short rib we got was mostly fat but our server quickly brought out a new non-fatty piece, which was pretty good but not anything new. The one low point was the service of the supporting team - busboys, runners, etc. They kept coming by trying to take our unfinished plates and it felt like they were pressuring us to leave. Although it was a very good experience overall, no one said anything as we left which seemed a bit too nonchalant.

Paris Club Bistro & Bar is Back! Gone is the industrial dining room, replaced with a warmer and more intimate setting. Plush leather booths, rich wood paneling and antique brass chandeliers create an environment of 1920s Paris. To further celebrate traditional France, Chef Partner Doug Psaltis and Executive Chef Christian Eckmann have focused on assembling a menu of celebrated classics like Hand-Cut Steak Tartare, French Onion Soup, Chateaubriand and Dover Sole Meunière.

Rediscover Paris.

"The first time, we ate in the bar and the service was so-so. The second time, we ate in the dining room and the service was much improved. Perhaps it helped that we ordered a bottle of wine..
Lobster scrambled eggs - creamy, light, yummy
Dover sole- impressive presentation of whole fish but ended up a bit dry and lacked a flavorful sauce
Profiteroles- lovely little bites of sweet
French onion soup-classic, good, massive serving
Lobster risotto(special)- delicious! Perfectly cooked and lovely flavors to highlight lobster
I'm not a fan of the decor of the interior. It's much too dark and overwrought and reminds me more of a gentleman's club/boudoir than a French bistro. But if you can ignore that, it's pretty decent food and good service.

"Charming French bistro tucked into the neighborhood. Outstanding service - never rushed, he let us take our time and really enjoy our meal and evening. We started with the tarte flambé, which my friend loved but I thought was just so-so. For our dinners, I had the boeuf bourguignon and my friend had cassoulet. Both were absolutely delicious! The unctuous red wine sauce was rich and complex and I wanted to lick the plate. The cassoulet was cooked to perfection with 'just tender enough' white beans that tasted creamy next to the duck confit with hints of all the meaty and herbaceous flavors popping. I do love a good shortbread and while the brittany cake is creative and interesting tasting, it was not my favorite."

"Tables here are a bit close together and you can easily overhear your neighbors and if you've got a big booty like me, you may find it awkward to squeeze into and out of the seating. But, once you're all set, you can enjoy a great meal with creative small plates and attentive service. Highlights: pulpo, scallop nigiri, beef empanadas, razor clam special with purple potatoes, and seafood fried rice. Desserts looked amazing but we were too full after all our small plates. Be sure to start the night with one of their tasty cocktails. I went for a classic pisco sour but they have a lot more interesting drinks if you want something a little different. They have booths that fit small groups but I wouldn't suggest more than 4-5 people."
