At Gran Gusto, we pride ourselves on the best quality for a great price. We are a completely in-house production, starting with fresh, basic ingrediants in order to create homemade bread to desert. Over 80% of our products come from Italy one time a week such as, olive oil, flour, truffles, specialty cheeses, bufala mozzarella for the Neopolotan-style pizza, ice cream and etc.

"We had a 2-block walk on a beautiful day. Loved the décor. Food was good. We did have a problem with the server because she didn't speak a word of English. I would be glad to return, when in that neighborhood."

Rasika, which is derived from Sanskrit meaning "flavors,” is the award-winning modern Indian restaurant owned by Ashok Bajaj. Leading the kitchen is Group Executive Chef Vikram Sunderam, a 2012 nominee for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic from the James Beard Foundation. Rasika has consistently earned four stars in the coveted Dining Guide of The Washington Post, and is in the top tier of Washingtonian magazine’s annual “100 Best.” Esquire magazine named it among the country’s best new restaurants in 2008 and Food & Wine magazine also stated that Rasika is “One of the hottest restaurants in the world.” Rasika showcases authentic Indian fare prepared on the Tawa (griddle), Sigri (open barbeque), as well as Tandoori and regional dishes. The restaurant is also noted for its international wine list, innovative cocktails and intimate, plush dining room. For private dining, Rasika has an exclusive space that can seat up to 16 guests and a semi-private area for up to 28.

"This is my second visit. The first time I had dinner and couldn't wait to go back again. Everything was perfect! This time (lunch) was not memorable. The waiter was okay. We asked for recommendations without curry and "not too spicey". He wasn't helpful, even though he knew the menu well and did try. Service all around was just okay."

Yes, we do serve brunch/lunch on Sunday with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless bloody Marys, mimosas and screwdrivers. During the evenings, Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries in a relaxed, fun, neighborhood environment. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. There are only a few wine, spirits, and draft beer choices, but each were selected specifically to accompany your meal. We offer an off-the-menu vegetarian option. Please contact us to inquire.

Mon Ami Gabi is a classic French bistro and steakhouse. The traditional menu features classics such as the warm Onion Soup Au Gratin, Frisée & Bacon Salad with a soft-poached egg and croutons, Roast Chicken grand-mère style with mushrooms, bacon and pearl onions, as well as the trademark Steak Frites. At lunch, we offer lighter fare including crepes, quiches and seasonal salads.
