"I hadn't been to 2941 in many years and my partner had never been, so decided to go on the Monday night of restaurant week. Place was CLEARLY "in over it's head" as there were literally 5 & 6 employees staring at the screen at the host desk while many of us waited to be seated. When we arrived on time for our 7 PM reservation, I checked in and saw a great two-top in the rear corner of the restaurant that was empty and already set for the next diner. It remained unoccupied until, at 7:35, we were, in fact, seated there. Kind of ridiculous that we had to wait for an unoccupied table for 35 minutes while 5 or 6 people tried to figure out how to seat those of us that were waiting, but it happens I guess. Personally, I really enjoyed my food (beef tartar and then rock fish) but my partner's pork entree wasn't nearly as tasty or as well-prepared. GREAT service and a wonderful Manhattan, so I'd definitely go back and try again..."

Little Fish was founded in the mid-'90s to the delight of Queen Village foodies and pretty much all Philadelphians who give a hoot about great seafood. Chef Chadd Jenkins purchased the long-established BYOB in September 2011 which he had been overseeing as the Chef de Cuisine since 2008. Convention says that when you purchase a successful business you maintain it. Little Fish continues to offer flavors and daring combinations to the recognition of Bon Appétit magazine — 3rd Best New Seafood Restaurant in the USA — and the delight of The New York Times. Little Fish recently swam up stream and reopened in a new location, a stone's throw from its original location where Little Fish continues to earn accolades from national and local press. Most importantly, Little Fish continues to feed old friends and serve new fans every day.

"Honestly this is one of the best restaurants and the most innovative seafood preparations I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying! My friend and I meet in Philly to hang out for the weekend and this was "dinner #1). Simply put, the food was SUPERB!"
