"I have now eaten at La Gamba 4 times and each time the experience has been wonderful! From the delicious Spanish food to the friendly service this has become one of my favorite go-to spots in Miami. The chef came out to greet us, and both of our servers couldn't have been friendlier or more attentive. They steered us toward two specials this time, a Spanish-style empanada (way different and way superior to the ones we're used to here) and giant shrimp (complete with edible claws) cooked in brandy. We also really like the Catalan spinach, the Spanish-style croquetas, and the jamon Iberico. Even something as simple as the classic Spanish tortilla was much more flavorful than others I've had elsewhere. Five stars!"

"Amazing that a restaurant this good still had reservations open for Mothers' Day (the day after we booked)! The food was great, the service was good (there were a few lags, but totally understandable given what a popular day it was), and the prices were unbelievable (free appetizers, $.99 mimosas -- and they weren't stingy with the champagne either). Will definitely go back and am already spreading the word about this treasure (and so nice that it's not in the midst of the crazy Miracle Mile hubub)."
