"We went for lunch and almost turned around when we saw the location is a shopping center opposite Walmart, but we are so glad we stayed. The food was innovative, delicious and high on the comfort scale. The devilled eggs were great, the fried brie sticks w. blueberry compote were a succulent new twist on the traditional cheese sticks and the pork/shrimp wontons were fantastic with the soy honeydipping sauce. The highlight was the Buffalo Tempura Shrimp Po-Boy. The view of Vail valley was a nice surprise in spite of the Walmart. There seemed to be only one server on duty and she was spread too thin, but did her best and was very helpful. We cannot wait to return when the weather is warm enough to eat on their large view-patio."

"The food was very good - The Lettuce Wedge salad could have used a few more crumbles of the sweet bacon - the dressing was light and tangy. Rainbow Trout was very good but the kale beneath it was tough, bland and chewy and the sweet potatoes seemed like a decorative garnish. The king and blue crab mac-n-cheese was delicious. The desert menu was enticing with interesting options, but the server did not check back to see if we wanted to order desert so we passed due to time constraints. Only 2 other tables were occupied as of 7 p.m. on Friday night. We like a quiet place but this was lonely! Other diners were offered black napkins to match dark clothes, but we were not and I am still picking white lint off of my dark sport coat."

"We were there for lunch and we both ordered the grilled cheese with soup. The grilled cheese was delicious with fresh pesto and plenty of melted cheese on a great artisan bread. The white cheddar broccoli soup was outstanding with a tart tangy flavor thanks to the white cheddar. It was the perfect business lunch for a chilly day."

"This was my least favorite of several Landry's options we have sampled in the Denver Metro area. The service was very good -knowledgeable, professional and personable. The restaurant ambiance lacks any real character - boring! Tuna Tartar appetizer was well prepared/presented. Chopped salad was good. Chicken/Sausage Gumbo could have used more rice but was very tasty with nice spice level. The Prime Rib was bland - lacking in seasoning, but the Crispy Salmon was delicious. The dessert menu was very promising, but the most enticing option - a chocolate pumpkin spice cake - is no longer an option and has been replaced by a very predictable chocolate decadence cake that was almost too chocolaty. Update the menu to avoid disappointment!"

The Trident, formerly 'Horizons", is now open!!
We recently completed our remodel and upstairs Skydeck addition showcasing the most amazing views!

In January 1981, this beautiful space was revived into Horizons restaurant. Inside is an incredible recipe of art and architecture, complemented with a resemblance of an old yacht. The ceiling mural was original to the Trident and painted by Dave Richards, creator of Janis Joplin’s infamous 1965 Porsche Cabriolet. On the outside deck, discover one of the most stunning restaurant waterfront views on the west coast, which boasts the skyline of San Francisco, Angel Island and Alcatraz. Join us for brunch, lunch or dinner

"Outstanding views of Sausolito harbor, the Bay and San Francisco from this sunny large deck. The fish and chips were good but the fish was blandly average. The Crab Louis was delicious with lots of succulent crab. The Shrimp Cocktail was very good. Service was good. The inside is a funky homage to the 70s/80s but is warm and rustic with breat views from huge windows."

"The only area that was less than stellar was the service as the entire server staff seemed spread too thin with a few large parties. The Carbonara was the best we've had. A New York Steak with potato gratin and the Seafood Stew were excellent. The interior is warm and comfortable with a noise level that was such as to be able to hold easy conversation. The outdoor sidewalk dining seemed plentiful, although the inside was much quieter and warmer. The staff was knowledgeable and professional just not as visible as they could be."

"Farallon is still as visually stunning as ever, with some of the best service in San Francisco. The classically prepared food is very good and the desserts were exceptional. The beet salad, blue fish entree and risotto were all excellent. The sea scallops with bacon and polenta presented a flavor profile that was not harmonious. The only negative was that the noise level was really too high to converse easily at our four top and this was on a Monday night. The noise level would make us hesitant ot return as the fine dining expereince was impacted by straining to hear conversation."

"Innovative menu with many great options - all well prepared. Pork Belly BLT was a fun twist on the traditional. Fried Pickles were great with Green Goddess dressing. House made lemonade was perfect. Cocktails were creative and well-made. Server was professional, personable and knowledgeable. The Source is a great complex and the Acorn an excellent dining option. Can't wait for warm weather when they can roll up the wall of windows!"

"Our first visit to Denver's Capital Grill: The dining room exudes old world charm with portraits in heavy gilded frames. Wood paneling and comfy chairs exude luxury. The menu features creative seafood preparations as well as many steak options. The side dishes proved to be delicious - perfectly sauteed spinach and creamed corn that was fresh and crisp and nicely seasoned. My special blackened filet over risotto was well prepared and flavorful as was the filet mignon. The sole with crab meat, while a too large portion, was truly succulent. The desert menu was uninspired so we passed. Cocktails: Pineapple infused martini was tart and light, an old fashioned was well crafted. $260 for three was pricey but the service was impeccable."
