Big City Tavern is a busy, vibrant restaurant reminiscent of the great urban taverns of Chicago, New York and Boston. A stylish, classic American restaurant, Big City offers a varied menu featuring dry aged steaks, burgers, fresh seafood, salads and fresh house-made pasta of the day. Some of the more popular dishes are the Pan Roasted Salmon with Tomato and the House-Made Charcuterie. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all delicious. The extensive wine list emphasizes California varietals by the bottle or glass. With its magnificent grand bar always busy, Big City has a constant din of energy and conviviality. Big City offers outdoor sidewalk dining in the center of the action on Las Olas Blvd.<br /><br />Please call the restaurant to make reservations for parties of 12 or more!

"Delicious food combined with a gorgeous day overlooking the beach...Can't be beat! Especially enjoyed the homemade donuts with custard and the craft drinks made with muddled fresh fruit. Service was friendly and attentive."

"Food tasty, service fair. Drinks awful. Advertised a bloody Mary with all the trimmings; got a plain, watered-down drink. Waiter "explained" they had run out of carrots, celery and blue cheese stuffed olives...Really???!! Music is nice but way too loud."

We have a great selection of oysters, seafood, veggies and prime rib.<br /><br />Daniel Serfer, a Miami native, opened his first restaurant, Blue Collar, in January 2012. Frequented by locals and visitors alike, Blue Collar offers American comfort food in a casual setting attached to a hooker motel.<br /><br />Drawing on the success of Blue Collar, Mignonette provides an approachable, fun environment where patrons can enjoy a dozen oysters, a bottle of champagne, classic seafood preparations like Oysters Rockefeller and Clams Casino, and a kickass prime rib. Once again driven to create the kind of restaurant he enjoys, Serfer is excited to bring a unique oyster bar experience to the guests who have made Blue Collar so popular. "I am so happy we found this restaurant...Amazing selection of east and west coast oysters, all delicious and perfectly shucked. My husband had the clam chowder, which was exceptional (New England style) We followed that with S. African lobster tails, also perfect...and at a great price. Desserts were limited, but delicious. Can't wait to return!"
