The design of Mistral is both elegant and casual, resonating with the ambiance of Provence as arched floor to ceiling windows drench the room with light.<br />Mistral’s dramatic dining room serves dinner nightly and Sunday Brunch. In our bar and comfortable lounge area we also offer craft cocktails and fine wines to compliment Chef Mammano’s menu. <br />Mistral’s private dining room, Le Salon du Mistral, accommodates 60 seated and up to 80 guests for a reception.

"An "old" standby for reliable food but at a very steep price. Try to find a parking space to off set the price as valet is super expensive!"

"On a busy satrudady night one would expect a slow down in service but the waiter kept things ,moving along well. Food was hot and freshly prepared."

It is the vision of the open kitchen to showcase a menu which is inspired by different cuisines which fall under the umbrella of the “Cuisine De Soleil” or the Sun Coast of Europe. The menu is based on regional Mediterranean specialties, which range from Spain to the Cote D’Azur, to certain regions in Italy such as Tuscany, Puglia and Sicily. In addition, classics dishes from different Mediterranean countries will be represented as well. The Concept, called “Mediterranean Fusion” onwards, will be descriptive of the ingredients utilized, as well as the cooking technique implemented to execute the idea. <br />The cooking techniques will be implemented by a “Plancha”, equivalent to a Griddle, in order to fortify and extract the versatility of flavors and aromas of the aforementioned regional ingredients to their fullest potential. The utilization of a “Plancha” is a very Mediterranean method, popularized by most countries of that region. <br />

"All courses were served in wide mouth dishes with a small bowl area.
Therefore all course were SUPER SMALL. The piece of cod was 2 by 1 inches over an assorment of beans and this was the entree!
Go figure if a Miami Spice meal is really worth it whne you have to go out for more food after a meal at the Setai.

Scott Conant, formerly of L’Impero and Alto, is at the helm of Scarpetta™, Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s Italian restaurant and an outpost of his recently opened restaurant of the same name in New York City. The restaurant features ocean and poolside views, a wraparound veranda as well as casual dining areas and a cocktail lounge.<br /><br />Scarpetta regional menu comprises clean, crisp flavors prepared in layers to reflect the quality of locally sourced ingredients. Known for coaxing the most sublime flavors out of the simplest ingredients, Conant relies on Florida’s bounty of farm-fresh and organic produce to craft menus of surprising complexity.<br /><br />To complement our wine list, there is a $30 corkage fee (per 750 ML) for two bottles and $70 for any additional bottle (per 750 ML).

"A busy restaurant week and Mistral is so popular it can't keep up with the volume and while foood was good it did not measure up to standards.
When asked to substitute vanilla ice cream for buttermilk I was told that this could not be done.....ridiculous!
I just don't like the flavor of buttermilk.......
