Zaytinya offers an innovative mezze menu inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines, under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés, served up in a sleek and modern setting. Shared small plates, creative cocktails and unique Mediterranean wines make this spot one of DC’s top dining destinations.

"We dined on Christmas Eve with family. We had four mezze plates and the kabob platter. The crispy eggplant and grilled brussels sprouts (with honey!) were outstanding. The mini crab cakes were the best I've ever had (no small feat in DC) but the salmon was mediocre. The kebab platter -- one skewer of chicken, one skewer of tomatoes, and three skewers of beef and lamb for $36 -- is a good selection for a large group. For dessert, we had feta cheese served with vanilla baklava ice cream and a flour-less chocolate cake -- both uniquely prepared.
No regrets for the price tag, since it was a holiday and everything was near perfect. There are much cheaper options for mezze or kebabs, but you're also paying for the space and the atmosphere."
