"I really enjoy coming here before/after a Verizon Center event. It's away from the noisy crowds of Penn Quarter. Whenever I come here, I have their soup. In addition to their corn/crab chowder and French Onion Soup, they always have a soup of the day. And they are ALWAYS terrific--regardless of which one I order. ALWAYS consistently good. And whether you order a sandwich or an entree, you can't go wrong. The price is right, too."

"A nice place to come before a Verizon event. Good food, quiet and great service. It beats the restaurants closer to Verizon as they are always packed and noisy. Their soups are always extraordinary. We clam chowder and their French Onion soup on the evening we were there. Both were excellent. Whether you order a sandwich or one of their entrees, you won't be disappointed."

"Introduced another friend to Cure today....and another home run. I'm never afraid to bring guests here and introduce them to the best held secret in Washington for lunch. There is always something new and exciting that the chef has prepared. I just love coming here!!! Today it was a delicious brisket sandwich and a pasta dish with a spicy marinara sauce (with salmon)."

"Went there when I saw that Chicken Pot Pie was one of their signature items. I must say I was disappointed. Not the chicken pot pie my Mom made. It was ok--but not when it's billed as a 'signature item.' Good service, though, from a very friendly staff. And I must say that my mixed drink--a Manhattan--was terrific."
