Modern creativity and traditional technique combine seamlessly at Rich Table, a Northern Californian neighborhood restaurant.

Chefs and Owners Evan and Sarah Rich have created a dressed-down interpretation of a fine dining restaurant, based on their extensive backgrounds in San Francisco's best restaurants. At Rich Table, they deliver an expert approach in a casual setting.

Rich Table's menu, wine list and cocktail program all showcase a seasonal San Francisco style. The team looks forward to having you join them at their table.

This James Beard Award winning restaurant with a clientele as diverse as San Francisco opened in 1979. A vibrant Parisian-style standing-only copper bar greets you as you enter on Rose Alley. Zuni's menu changes daily with dishes inspired by traditional Italian and French recipes. Nearly all of the produce, meat, and fish served at Zuni is farmed and harvested in a sustainable manner. Even without a reservation, bar tables are available on a first come, first served basis and the full menu is available. The bar also serves traditional cocktails made with top-shelf ingredients; refreshments at its best in an environment of effortless hospitality. Whether you dine early or prefer to dine after theater, Zuni is a welcoming haven. -Judy Rodgers, chef/co-owner -Gilbert Pilgram, co-owner

"Compared to many previous meals at Zuni, this one was generally disappointing -- though the shoesting potatoes & expresso granita remain superlative."

Boxing Room opened in 2011 in the former 19th-century Standard Shirts Factory, located in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood. Executive Chef Justin Simoneaux, a Southern Louisiana native, celebrates the Cajun and Creole dishes of New Orleans and coastal Louisiana, coupled with seasonal Northern California ingredients. Additionally, Boxing Room offers oysters from the raw bar, and an extensive selection of beer and wine on tap. Since opening, Boxing Room has been named one of San Francisco’s Best New Restaurants by 7x7 magazine, and San Francisco magazine gave the restaurant a 3-star review. Boxing Room is open daily for dinner, lunch during the week, and brunch on the weekend.
