Bissap Baobab has moved and merged with Little Baobab located (one block from our original location) at 3372 19th Street between Mission & Capp, in San Francisco’s Mission District.<br /><br><br><br />We have fused the best elements of Bissap (formerly Bollyhood Café) and Little Baobab to create Bissap Baobab Village. Serving Senegalese food and artisan cocktails using homemade hibiscus, tamarind and ginger juices. In late evening, talented musicians and dancers take the stage to entertain creating a unique West African experience. <br /><br><br /><br>We only take reservations for groups of eight or more and are happy to accommodate groups as large as 40 people.

Phans55 started out as a family of foodies who traveled and enjoyed all the different types of cuisines all over the world. We wanted to bring something unique and beautiful that we knew represented our Vietnamese culture and food passion.The idea was to take traditional Vietnamese<br />cuisine and give it a little bit of a modern flare. This in turn was the beginning of Phans55 whose goal is to offer home-cooked Vietnamese comfort food. We set out to create a new kind of Vietnamese restaurant. Phans55 breaks all traditions - no processed meat entrees,and no heavy heart-clogging sauces. What you"ll find on our menu is innovatively grilled, steamed, or wokked plates over high heat.<br />We use premium quality natural ingredients, organic when possible, and always fresh every day. We work hard and make our dishes from scratch to ensure our quality. No short cuts. We believe it's just better this way. <br />

"the staff seemed to be overwhelmed - I had made a reservation but no one greeted me when I got there - they just said sit where ever you want - they were running all over the place and I had to remind them several times to check me in on opentable for my points - overall the food was good and service was ok"

At Mayura, our food is inspired by the authentic home cooking of beautiful, spice-rich Kerala. Food is our passion, prepared for you always with devotion, love, and the finest ingredients. Due to historical diversity and the cultural influences, Kerala cuisines have also contributed unique vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. The main spices used are cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, green and red peppers, cloves, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander, turmeric, and so on. Few fresh herbs are used like curry leaf, and the occasional use of fresh coriander, cilantro and mint. For Kerala fish curry we use only kodampuli (Garcinia Cambogia), as sour sauces are very popular in Kerala.

The Playground is a chef driven small-plates restaurant that highlights the freshest and most exciting available ingredients in dishes inspired by great culinary traditions all over the world. The menu changes daily based on available ingredients and the chefs’ whims. The optimal party size is between 4 and 6, so that everyone can sample a number of dishes. We're not the kind of restaurant where you should expect to order your own dish (plan to share,) to think in terms of starters and mains (who made those rules anyway?), or to customize your order. Each plate has been crafted by the chefs in the way they believe best highlights the ingredients. Modifying an element would change the dish into something we don't believe in, and we're not going to serve you anything we don't believe is the best we can do.<br /><br />Please note that we allow two hours for all reservations. If you would like more time please give us a call and we can see if we can accommodate you.
