"This oldie but goodie is still going strong despite all the new competition ( many of which have already come & gone). The seafood entrees are particularly excellennt. The fish and shell fish all very fresh with a piquant tomato sauce. it is so hard to decide between the entrees and a bunch of tapas so we do split an entree and still order a bunch of tapas. The potatoes with spicy tomato sauce are one of my favorites. The night we were there we had an aparagus special and a shrimp special which were also excellent. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Sorry, I didn't ask our server's name but he has been around for a awhile and gives great attentive service and you can always trust his recommendations."

"I was pleasantly surprised at the variety as I expected a steak house. I had Jumbalaya which was excellent, but I think they need a ltitle portion control ( all were too large). One in my party had the New York and found it quite good. We had the tempura beans appetizer which was also huge. It was not very busy so we had very attentive service. It was a Tuesday night and I hope the quiteness was due to it being a slow night rather than lack of customers."

"We went for lunch and we all ordered the Bento lunch. The service was better than the last time when I went for happy hour. Since we didn't order sushi, I can't really comment on that aspect and that is the true test of a restaurant liek this. The Bento lunches were good, nothing special. Ihad tempura and sashimi. The fish was very fresh"

Located in downtown Sacramento, America's Farm to Fork Capital, Grange is a culinary expression of all things local, reflecting the authentic essence and soul of the community.

The menu showcases the market-driven bounties from the state and is best described as simple, seasonal and soulful. Organically raised meats and poultry are complemented with the freshest produce available from the Central Valley, while sustainable coastal seafood is paired with a spectacular all-California wine list. The entrees are presented in a straightforward American brasserie style. Lastly, enjoy the creations from our pastry chef such as rustic artisan breads and desserts.

This Sacramento restaurant’s setting is both classic and authentic. The two-story space combines architectural elements from the building’s rich history with exposed beams and concrete columns to create a surprising and urbane, loft-like atmosphere.

"I keep expecting this place to have food that really wows me, but why woudl I expect that form a hotel restaurant? Even though it is a boutique hotel and the way the windows bay to the street reminds of restaurants on the upper East side of New York, it doesn't quite live up to expectation. I had a smoked turkey sandwich which was good but not great. I also have trouble finding something to order. I think the lunch menu is a little on the heavy side."
