Revolution Wines is the first full-scale working Winery in Midtown Sacramento. We source local fruit, and do everything from crush to bottle at S and 29th streets. We offer wine tastings, wine by the glass or bottle, and memberships to our wine club in our Tasting Room, while our Bistro offers house-made, local and seasonal eats with an ever-changing menu. At Revolution Wines, we see our mission as producing and selling our wines and eats as local and seasonal, vineyard-to-table and farm-to-table. The addition of a Bistro, Tasting Room and Patio complete the experience of Sacramento terroir, and at Revolution Wines, it is a rare place for Sacramento Terroir Immersion. We invite you to visit us and experience the best that our locale and region has to offer!

*please note, we only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more on Friday and Saturday nights.

"Even though this is wine tasting room, it is so much more . They serve flights of local wines in addition to their own. The small plates menu has so much variety, it was hard to choose. It's easy to make a meal from the menu."

Downtown & Vine brings wine country to Sacramento offering a combination tasting room, wine bar and event center in one beautiful site. We have focused on bringing together 10 local wineries from the 5 wine regions that surround Sacramento, and two from Europe showcasing the amazing diversity of grape varietals and wine styles.

Our Wineries represent the best of “farm to fork” (we like to say farm to glass!)

*Reservations for 10 or more people, please contact the restaurant by phone ahead of time*

"We went for lunch and couldn't really take advantage of the wine selections. I like the cariety of small bites. The outdoor seating overlooks Kay street so great people watching, but the day we were there there was construction which was intrusive. The inside is very comfy seating, more like a den atmosphere but it was too nice a day to sit inside."

Taylor's Kitchen is a charming, neighborhood restaurant nestled in between Land Park and Curtis Park. Chef Richard Telford's weekly changing menu benefits from his relationship with local farmers and ranchers. One of Sacramento's "best kept culinary secrets", Taylor's is perennially on at or near the top of Zagat's list in food quality. The wine list is always changing features wines hand selected by Master Sommelier candidate, Keith Fergel, formerly of The San Francisco's Fifth Floor and Yountville's The French Laundry.

"Although a neighborhood gem and I don't live in the "hood", I love going here. I always run into a lot of friends and the food is outsatnding. Attached to a gourmet one-of-a kind market, the food is seasonal and excellent. That beign said, I went in April adn my entree shoudlahve been retired with the winter menu. It was squab with wild rice and sauseage and was a little too heavy. I eyed my dining partner's pasta with peas longingly. It looked like a better choice."

"The food was good as usual, but I think we need to change it up a bit. Also, I found quantity over quality with regard to the side salad I ordered. It was so much I took most home, but so did my dining companiona and when the server packed them up, he mixed them up. I like the salmon salad and entree and the blt, but getting tired of it."
