Taylor's Kitchen is a charming, neighborhood restaurant nestled in between Land Park and Curtis Park. Chef Richard Telford's weekly changing menu benefits from his relationship with local farmers and ranchers. One of Sacramento's "best kept culinary secrets", Taylor's is perennially on at or near the top of Zagat's list in food quality. The wine list is always changing features wines hand selected by Master Sommelier candidate, Keith Fergel, formerly of The San Francisco's Fifth Floor and Yountville's The French Laundry.

"Taylor's is a bit on the procey side but is every good, if not better, than others in the price range. We both had the veal chop special and it was to die for. It was tender and cooked perfectly. I especailly loved the vegetables that were served with it. The beet sald was less successful and was too vinegary.
Our server was excellent and she gave very good wine advice. The wine by the galss menu is quite varied. She was there when we needed her, but let us take our time."

Revolution Wines is the first full-scale working Winery in Midtown Sacramento. We source local fruit, and do everything from crush to bottle at S and 29th streets. We offer wine tastings, wine by the glass or bottle, and memberships to our wine club in our Tasting Room, while our Bistro offers house-made, local and seasonal eats with an ever-changing menu. At Revolution Wines, we see our mission as producing and selling our wines and eats as local and seasonal, vineyard-to-table and farm-to-table. The addition of a Bistro, Tasting Room and Patio complete the experience of Sacramento terroir, and at Revolution Wines, it is a rare place for Sacramento Terroir Immersion. We invite you to visit us and experience the best that our locale and region has to offer!

*please note, we only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more on Friday and Saturday nights.

Our Goal at The Waterboy is to provide you with a wonderful dining experience. Taking inspiration from the cuisines of southern France and northern Italy, we feature a new menu every month to take full advantage of our local, seasonal ingredients. Our menu features naturally raised meats, local organic produce and freshly baked breads. Along with great service and a terrific, reasonably priced wine list, we think you will be quite pleased with a visit to The Waterboy.

"I was meeting three other friends here for dinner and a few of us were arriving early for drinks. Even though we came an hour before our reservatiosn, they let us sit at the table and have wine and appetizers waiting for the rest of the party. Most restaurants won't even seat you unless everyone is there. It was so nice to be able to have the table for the even ing and never feel rushed. Thee servers always seemed to sense when we wer ready to order the next cours or wine. The selection of half bottles of wine worked out especially nicely as we could share one while waiting for the rest of the party and everyone was abel to select their preferred wine."
