Abe & Louie's represents the ultimate in classic American steakhouses, while still maintaining local charm and appeal. Our philosophy focuses on the finest quality food and service; this emphasis on quality is showcased in our décor and atmosphere. The Abe & Louie's commitment to quality is best represented in our signature prime steaks that are selected from the finest corn-fed, local and Midwestern beef. All the steaks served are aged 6 weeks on the bone to ensure the most flavorful and juicy steaks. Guests will marvel at our menu's emphasis on our fresh seafood and produce. The lump crab cake and swordfish chop are signature dishes, outstanding in their own right, in addition to the exclusive bone-in filet mignon and other fine steaks and chops. Our high-quality cuisine is paired with an award-winning wine list featuring a selection of over 200 wines from the best regions in the world.

"Started off with a great martini with stuffed blue cheese olives.
Paul was our waiter and was friendly and very thorough.
New England clam chowder was excellent and the Caesar salad was
very good. We ordered the filet mignon and the prime rib.
When they came out both were undercooked. I was worried because usually
its never good after they come back out. Well this time the food came back
and was terrific. They also bought desert for us which was quite nice.
The manager stopped by and was really sociable and caring.
A+ will come back

"It was a beautiful Saturday night and we went o our new favorite restaurant.
We wanted an outside table as you see a bit of Stamford with people bustling
around the town. While sitting there a person from outside started smoking and
was a bit annoying when Jim the manager noticed it within seconds and came over politely asked
the man to leave. As for the dinner, just wonderful!
Andy the waiter was excellent and very friendly.
The Brussels sprouts are a meal in it self. The rock shrimp buffalo style was spicy
and good. The dinner of ravioli mushroom style was tremendous. Scallops were great.
Great drinks also. Pineapple mojito.

"Taco rosa is an authentic Mexican restaurant.
It had that feeling as soon as you walked in.
To start with we had the chips with salsa and avocado
It was good but my wife makes a better one.
Hey give you plenty of VIPs. They also give you a free
appetizer which was quite good. The margheritas are excellent.
The main dishes of tacos and enchiladas were excellent.
The burrito had too much sauce and wasn't great.
The waitress Alexandra was excellent.
We went for an 8:30 reservation. Problem was kitchen closes
at 9:00 so we got rushed a bit.

"Read about this restaurant on trip advisor and it lived up to its reputation.
We were greeted properly and seated immadeately. Then the waitress came right over and took a drink order. The mojito was good the cosmopolitans was bitter, think they forgot something.
We were here for the food anyway.
For apps we had the lobster bisque which was spicy but very good. They use a little chili oil.
Another great appetizer was the kale Caesar salad. Different and so tasty. Was not bitter like a lot of kale. The fried artichoke was excellent as well as onion soup.
For dinner we had the prime rib. Both were great. My wife had the chicken juderi which was very tender and butter tasting. They cook it with a birch on top to crisp and keep juices in it.

"One of the best ship cocktail I have had
Shrimp was firm and cold. Great sauce to
Accompany them.
The surf and turf appetizers were wonderful.
Corn and crab chowder was a nice creamy and very
filling soup.
The lemon slow was great.
The only poor dinner was the seafood salad dinner.
The salad was limp and not tasty.
Mac and cheese was really good as it had truffle mixed in.
The waiter Manuel was a very good server.

"A very good solid meal.had veal Marsala and it was excellent.
Had a salad as an app. The other person had a macaroni dish
that was quite good.
It's very crowded and you must make reservations days or even a week in advance.

Just like the architecture associated with the surrounding neighborhoods; Brownstone is a classic, stylish but casually elegant wine and martini bar. From young professionals sipping classic martini"s to couples enjoying new American dishes and sampling the latest grape and craft beer. Brownstone is a quaint little retreat that transitions into a happening late night hot spot.
