Neighborhood Comfort with an Italian Twist!

The Avenue is a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar, with an Italian bent, where locally sourced products are transformed into a new take on classic dishes that are both approachable and distinctive. Our menu is ever evolving driven by seasonality and availability. Our wine selection is thoughtful and diverse. Service is warm and attentive in a refined and inviting setting. We have created an atmosphere where friends and family can reconnect over drinks or dinner.

"The space is really nice. Large restaurant. Bar and some musical entertainment started at 9 on a Saturday. The caesar salad was excellent. That was the best part. The seafood pasta dish was supposed to be spicy, my wife's was, mine was not at all. Chef apparently forgot to season my dish. There was an excess of pasta sauce in the dish which was unappealing. The kitchen was also extremely slow even though they were not crowded. I did notify the manager and he apologized and took care of my entree. Their version of a pineapple upside-down cake was very good."

From the heart of Milano to the center of Miami, twin brother Chefs Roberto and Emanuele Bearzi, bring their unique talents and passion for authentic Cucina Italiana to Fratelli Milano, a restaurant that offers a genuine taste of home. With over 34 years combined experience in some of the top kitchens in town, Roberto works his magic as Chef de Cuisine, while pastry chef Emanuele fills the air with the scents of homemade pasta, freshly baked bread and confections to delight the most discerning diners. Joined by Roberto’s wife Fiorella, who runs the dining room, this family owned and operated restaurant is located in the historic Ingraham Building at 213 SE 1st Street in Downtown Miami. Serving lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, the Bearzi family is also available to cater private parties and help you plan your next corporate gathering.

The philosophy of the menu at Bistro Bordeaux is an expression of our French culinary heritage, for which we have a profound admiration. The support of our local farmers allows us to use the freshest produce and seafood, just as one would find in the markets in the south of France. The menu showcases the freshness of these pure ingredients through simple, flavorful combinations.
As the passing of fall brings day light savings time with early nightfall, we are always excited to welcome back the great comfort food dishes typically found in bistros; the first taste of the “Coq au Vin” and the pervading perfumes of the long cooked “Cassoulet Toulousain”, come to mind. It is, in our opinion, this style of cuisine that offers the clearest definition of traditionally rooted French fare
We hope you enjoy the eating as much as we enjoy the preparation in the kitchen and wish you all "Bon appétit"!

The team at Bistro Bordeaux
Inspired by the Supper Club experience of a bygone era, The Bedford puts a modern-day twist on the concept by offering more than just a restaurant. Underground but not exclusive, this Wicker Park outpost offers a full nightlife experience without the formality. Come into the reclaimed landmark bank for a drink or small bite, and end up staying for a full meal, music and more. Sip on one of our signature cocktails in the one-of-a-kind lounge in a former bank vault; experience our boutique wine, beer and spirits selection at the bustling bar; or enjoy our celebrated cuisine in the intimate dining room. Stick around after dinner and you just might find yourself ready to mingle, enjoy some tunes and the company of an old (or new) friend. You could go somewhere else, but why would you want to? The Bedford is an affordable luxury right in the heart of Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Experience it for yourself.

"Being that this restaurant is downstairs in a converted bank vault gave it some unusual charm. It is quite dark with a long bar and a lot of tables. There are two private rooms. The menu is not huge but they have a good variety of entree. Chicken liver mousse and strawberry jam, whipped ricotta and black truffle honey and Roasted Mushroom & Gruyere all on toast, all excellent. The Bibb salad was the most disappointing, the honey vinaigrette, had no honey. We then split the hamburger which was also cooked perfectly. It comes with kennebec fries, which they tell you are a variety of potato that makes the best fries and are very special. Service was very good although I did have to ask for bread."
