Pascal is a French Restaurant offering traditional as well as creative cuisine executed by Chef Pascal Olhats. The chef/owner has been one of Orange County"s favorite chefs for three decades and at the new location, has dedicated an intimate 24-seat dining room as part of his fine gourmet food store. This dining room offers an exclusive prix fixe menu that includes dishes that are now signature of his cuisine and dishes that are prepared with seasonal, mostly organic and from local sources. The decor and table setting have French accents with French linen and fresh roses. You may feel like you have just spent a moment in one of France's wine country auberge. Most of the produce is grown at a local farm in Irvine where Chef Pascal enjoys picking it up himself in the morning hours. The cuisine is as close as you could find in France with influence from Provence as well as Normandy gastronomes.

"Thank you Pascal for filling a void in Southern OC once again with a quiet adult-friendly restaurant! San Juan Capistrano is fortunate that you chose to relocate from flashy Newport Beach to the real world of SJC. As two people who are fans of fine dining coupled with quiet and elegant ambiance, Orange County is considerably void of such options. Most restaurants cater to the vibrant scene where the objective is to see and be seen in your fine denim and loud voices as everyone tries to outdo or impress complete strangers with their flash and logo clothes. OC could use more restaurants like yours to cater to the arrived adults who are comfortable in their own skin and enjoy the quiet elegance of fine dining coupled with good service and a warm and comforting ambiance! Thank you for filling the void. We will see you again soon."

Ristorante Piatti features a menu with recipes complimenting the various regions of Italy. It has a casual yet sparkling atmosphere with authentic regional Italian cuisine. Piatti's success can be attributed to its staff and its approach to food, wine, and the dining experience.

"This was our first time to dine at this establishment and we will definitely return. It seems like an "In Place" to dine in Danville judging from the vibrant patrons. Our waiter was outstanding, and when a friend dining with us knocked over his glass of wine, the waiter made sure he was not embarrassed and insisted on a complete change of the table linens and place settings for our comfort. This touch alone would bring us back."

Yankee Pier, a bustling and vibrant seafood house, offers chef Michael Dunn's ocean-fresh seafood "fresh from coast to coast". Local seafood, sourced in accord with the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch program, which promotes sustainable practices that are healthy for ocean wildlife and the environment, is presented with a nod toward New England. Live Maine lobsters, fresh-shucked oysters, an array of grilled fresh fish, and beer-battered full belly clams are some of the offerings, along with local produce, house-made desserts, a selection of all-American wines and a full bar.

"This was probably our 14th or 15th time to dine at Yankee Pier. We are from Southern Orange County with relatives in Lafayette and this is our go to restaurant whenever we are in town. The food is always outstanding and the service is superb."
