The minute you walk into Poseidon, you’ll be swept by the fabulous view. You couldn’t be closer to the sand and the beach than sitting at Poseidon on their beautiful outdoor patio. With such a spectacular ocean view, you’ll experience breathtaking sunsets and during the right season even catch a glimpse of the whales migrating up or down the coast. The bar offers a large circular firepit, which is nice on those chilly fall or winter nights. Off to the side of the bar is a split level dining room offering every table a panoramic view of the beach and the ocean. For over 33 years, Poseidon has delighted both local San Diegans and the tourists that love the beach. An excellent menu, a favorite with all the locals is designed to cater to all appetites and pocketbooks.

Morimoto's contemporary Japanese menu infuses traditional dishes with Western ingredients and preparation techniques. His seasonal and ever-changing selection of raw fish preparations will feature the freshest seafood available as well as locally grown fruits and vegetables from supporting farmers. Morimoto's signature offerings include Toro Tartare, presented in a shallow wooden tray with condiments including crème fraîche, wasabi, avocado, nori paste, chives, crispy rice, and dashi-soy. Tuna Pizza made with raw tuna, anchovy aioli, and jalapeno; Morimoto Sashimi, a terrine of seared Toro, smoked salmon, barbequed eel, tuna and Hamachi served with five different sauces in pipettes.

What we serve at Ka‘ana, we serve from the heart. We source from local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen. We only put on your plate what we feel is proper to serve. Our pairings speak to the ability to connect the elements of taste, smell, and touch with everything around us. <br />Our dishes are prepared using techniques from around the culinary world, but thought-out in accordance with our micro-climate. The way we prepare our fish, season our salads, and grill our meat depends not only on its origin, but what the weather tells us, how the swells on the ocean shape our mood, and how the land influences our feelings. <br />Here we hope to blur the lines between your kitchen and our restaurant, between what is external and what is internal. Located above the Wailea Tennis Center, Joes has panoramic ocean views on one side and vistas of Haleakala on the other. Internationally acclaimed Chef Bev Gannon masterminds the menu, while husband Joe Gannon is credited with the theatrical lighting and inspiration of this popular dining spot. <br /><br />Wonderful comfort food, with a gourmet streak such as slow roasted prime rib, with mashed potatoes, our BBQ ribs, and Joes favorite meatloaf. Fresh local fish is also offered nightly including appetizers such as the ahi carpaccio and calamari. Don't forget about the "World famous crab dip"! The Seafood jambalaya with fresh fish, shrimp and scallops is another favorite. <br /><br />Children are welcome, offering a fun kids menu and special drinks like the green gecko. <br /><br />One of Wailea's best Mai Tai's, crazy martinis, and and exceptional wine list from well known producers as well as smaller boutique wineries.
