There's a time each year when Rome shimmers with a celebration known as "White Nights." It's an all-night festival of culture and the arts, but most importantly to us, it's a celebration of food and drink! Notti Bianche and Executive Chef Michael Cassady embrace this spirit each day serving seasonal, reasonably priced Italian trattoria fare throughout the day!

"Notti Bianchi is our "go-to" restaurant prior to a performance at the Kennedy Center. The service is responsive to our needs and the servers re delightfully pleasant. Food is both creative and good with a pleasing Italian emphasis. My scallops on a bed of parsnip puree was outstanding and my husband's tagliatelli with veal ragu was exceptional. We look forward to our next visit!"

Rue 57 is a French American Brasserie with a sushi bar located in Midtown Manhattan just blocks away from Central Park. We open for breakfast daily at 7:30AM and 9AM on the weekends. Join us after a day of shopping, or on your way to the theater at night. Our menu includes such favorites as the Brasserie Benedict, Brioche French Toast, our Classic Steak Frites, the delicious Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. Our bar offers specialty cocktails, wine list and tasty draft and bottle beers. You can also sit and enjoy our succulent Sushi.

We look forward to serving you!

"RUE 57 is just right on an evening when you want to hang out and kick back. The food is good. My husband would say the onion soup was awesome. I had sushi which was excellent. The feeling of the place is energetic and it moves quickly. We had a great time and it just fit our mood at the end of a long work day!"

Enjoy a fantastic culinary experience and unequalled skyline views through two-story windows high above the Potomac River. The contemporary interior features chrome, glass, suede, and wood with accents of granite. Check out the critically-acclaimed Sunday Kitchen Buffet Brunch. The Roof Terrace Restaurant & Bar is located on the Roof Terrace level of the Kennedy Center above the Hall of Nations.

"Roof Terrace has definitely improved in the last few years. It is a good choice for pre-theater and the prices are not much if any more than the next-door cafeteria. I would not go out of my way to go - but if one is going to the Kennedy Center for a performance, it is most enjoyable."

"We love to go to Notti Bianchi. The food is excellent, the ambiance pleasantly unusual and the service well informed. It is a 5 minute walk to the Kennedy Center which is another plus! Last night I had a venison carpaccio and veal ragu on Tagliatelle - both were outstanding. Pasta can be ordered in 1/2 size portions - Yumm. Wines by the glass are excellent and are never kept too long after they have been opened. Go and Enjoy!"

"Notti Bianchi is our favorite for pre theater. On Sunday we were in the neighborhood and they had space. The restaurant was fairly quiet - all the theater people had left. T he food was excellent as well as the service. Tendency is for young energetic servers who are very knowledgeable - quite a delight. we will go again - and not just for pre theater!"

"Fiola is outstanding in almost every way! The only drawback was waiting more than 30 minutes for our table and then sitting in the bar. Admittedly it was Christmas Eve - but they knew that when the reservation was made. The food is quite literally ethereal! We had the 4 course al a Carte menu - the veal stuffed with foie gras was beyond compare. We also had an awesome tomato soup, lobster ravioli, tuna tartare and delicious desserts. the wine list is exhaustive and the wine steward very helpful without suggesting wines beyond a reasonable budget. The price tag is significant, but totally understandable based on the quality of what emerges from the kitchen and wine cellar."

The Sushi Ko food philosophy is Cuisine of Subtraction. According to Creative Director Daisuke Utagawa, subtraction allows chefs to reveal the essence of each ingredient in it's most honest yet refined state. By subtly combining other ingredients, a taste sensation is created that demonstrates the complexity and beauty of nature for the eye and the palate.

Sushiko also offers an Omakase dining experience available in the Sushi Bar only and by telephone reservation. The maximum amount of people per time slot is 4. This new policy will take effect Mon. Feb. 9. The time slots we have available are:

5:30pm - Omakase Nigiri
6:30pm - Chef's Tasting Menu
8:00pm - Omakase Nigiri
9:00pm - Chef's Tasting Menu

"Sushi ko is not your ordinary Japanese restaurant. The smoked mussel soup is a take off from Miso and is exquisite. the brussel sprouts were most unusual and very tasty. Service is good and servers can describe the dishes well. It takes a while to study the menu and how it is organized, but once conquered - YUMM"
