Under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés, America Eats Tavern pays tribute to the country’s culinary legacy with a sophisticated menu reflecting native ingredients and classic dishes throughout history. Here you’ll find traditional variations of soups and salads, sandwiches, seafood and meats, as well as innovative creations by José and his team. An expansive seafood bar, variety of oyster dishes and selection of local hams reflect local and historical roots to complement the menu's seasonal offerings. A drink menu traces the evolution of the cocktail in America throughout a range of eras, while the wine list highlights local and remarkable vineyards and producers throughout the nation. America Eats Tavern’s patriotic and stylishly artistic setting within The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner is the perfect setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and serves as the ideal gathering place for and around the Northern Virginia and the Washington area.

"Somewhat slow on the service. Had to wait 10 min to get out water and drink orders in the beginning and waited or had to ask to get wine poured. Fish was very good, veggies on the side were bland, old and soft. Reine de Saba cake was outstanding but not enough to raise the overall rating. Also, does not have a full bar."

"Very upscale place and top 100 in DC. I was a bit disappointed that the fluke and crab main I ordered was a little on the salty side. However, when I did mention it to the waitress, they did offer a dessert on the house. Just don't expect too much salt in a great restaurant so i would rate them very good but not great."

The Foster Harris House is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, minutes from Shenandoah National Park and a short hours drive from Washington, DC. We invite you to enjoy the seasonal culinary delights of our country inn here in beautiful Rappahannock County Virginia and experience a five-course meal in our intimate, 10 seat dining room. Our prix fixe menu changes weekly and highlights local, seasonal ingredients. Chef owned and operated, the Foster Harris House serves dinner to the public on Fridays and Saturday nights by reservation. <br />Note: Because of our extremely small size and prix fixe menu, we're unable to accommodate dietary restrictions. If you have a food allergy, we're happy to let you know whether or not that ingredient is included. If you're not able to dine with us because our current menu doesn't fit your needs or preferences, please keep an eye out for future menus, since we'll be changing it up often!
