"We had early bird dinner - a fairly good value - salmon was well cooked - salad could have been stronger - dessert was sorbet & cookies. Cookies could have been tastier."

With the look and feel of one of the "Great Camps" of the Adirondacks, Tower Oaks Lodge serves an American-style saloon menu. Adjacent to a 21-acre nature preserve, Tower Oaks Lodge is located just off I-270. The raw bar features oysters from both coasts.

The newest Chef Geoff's restaurant is the go-to destination on the Pike. Located across from Montrose Crossing, Chef Geoff's Rockville is the perfect spot for a business lunch or family dinner in a friendly and energetic atmosphere. Only minutes from the Strathmore, we're the perfect location for pre-theater dining. A three course Sunset Special is offered daily from 4:30-6 pm for $19.95. Need a break from work? There is no better place than our newly renovated bar for all-day happy hour Monday and Tuesday. Or join us for our ever-growing Bacon Bar on Wednesday and Thursday where we truly believe bacon goes great with everything. Have a case of the Mondays? We have the solution with ½ price bottles of wine every Monday. We are excited to finally be a part of your neighborhood and hope that you will come join us soon. Cheers! Chef Geoff

"Did the sunset special & had a new dish. Bolognese type sauce (ground beef & veal) over buttered noodles. Just delicious. Mixed green salad first & yummy donuts & coconut ice cream for dessert. Very tasty. Excellent service. Quiet enough that we can talk without shouting!"

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish.
Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker. A bipartisan favorite, we have occupied the nation’s capital since 1995, anchored across from the Verizon Center and around the corner from the International Spy Museum, National Portrait Gallery and Chinatown.

Make waves at our racetrack-shaped bar or sup on seafood underneath the hull-like ceiling in our restaurant’s main dining room. Either way, be presidential and order a cup of our New England Clam Chowder; it’s been served at every Inauguration since 1981. Other accolades include being named “#1 Best Seafood Restaurant” in a nationwide poll by USA Today (2013).

"We had a nice meal at Legal but it was pricey for what we got. My husband ordered a bowl of chowder & they forgot. When reminded, it came with the meal. I had shrimp, scallops, a crab cake with salad. Not much greens & drowned in dressing. My husband had scrod. One. Glass of iced tea, a glass of wine & one hotter. $80.00 without tip. We won't rush back. We also had a reservation for 6 pm & waited 15 minutes to be seated. Restaurant thanked us for our patience several times."

"We really like Agora. The service is excellent & the food choices very tasty. The waiters always give good advice. Our only issue is that the bill adds up quickly & the tapas type portions are small."

A classic American gathering place, the District Chophouse & Brewery is conveniently located 1/2 block South of The Verizon Center. We pride ourselves in serving the city's finest handcrafted beers and succulent steaks, mouthwatering chops, tasty seafood, and over-sized salads. Once you've eaten here, you'll agree the 'DC' stands for District Chophouse.

"Server was only fair - asked for hamburger with no cheese & bacon. Got neither. He did get us out on time & food was tasty although not special. Lunch was good at another time. Excellent French onion soup!"
