"So happy that this new restaurant has introduced brunch because there is no place to go on the weekends in that neighborhood. This brunch menu is very interesting -- who could imagine a breakfast pizza? So good. We also tried the grilled french toast which was amazing. And the eggs over polenta which everyone at the table had to sample. And the espresso drinks are extraordinary. This brunch is excellent!"

Located on bustling Washington Circle in the West End, District Commons is anchored by a monumental raw bar and an open hearth oven for flatbreads and savory tarts. A 'Pig Board' of ham and biscuits will showcase a selection of America's finest hams. Chef/Owner Jeff Tunks serves up classic American cuisine in this gorgeous setting. Chili Glazed Duck, Brick Pressed Chicken, Classic Hanger Steak - these choices and more! Freshly baked breads and desserts round out your meal. Try one of our regional American drafts or exquisite wines, or sample from the 99 Beers on the Wall!

"The perfect place to dine before Kennedy Center. Excellent salmon entree and the house salad is the best ever. Service was just wonderful. From the hostess, Marilyn, to the servers -- just a great experience."

Rural Society is a contemporary Argentine steakhouse from nationally renowned master of Latin cuisine Chef Jose Garces. Inspired by his travels to South America, Rural Society is at once rustic and luxurious, bringing the energy and sophistication of Buenos Aires to Washington. Our menu and primarily South American wine list, combined with our warm hospitality and welcoming décor, transport you far from the bustle of the District to the sweeping cattle ranches and grill-fired kitchens of Argentina.

"A very special place. Took new clients from New York City and they were wowed. Tenderloin, lamb chops, Brussels sprouts, roasted beets were shared among the three of us. Made for a perfect dinner. Note- of the hostess seats you in the noisy front room ask to be moved to the cozier back room."

Charlie Chiang’s has been a member of the Greater Washington DC area for over 30 years. Charlie Chiang’s has always served the best food in a generous and hospitable atmosphere. We've had the honor of serving our dishes to President George H. Bush at his inauguration, President Clinton at his reception at the Capitol, visiting international bankers at the annual China Trust Bank dinner, and dignitaries at the Smithsonian’s Diversity of Food program.

"Ambience terrific. Kale salad lovely. Pizza was dry and, frankly, just bad. a real disappointment. Our server was attentive but had an odd habit of talking in the third person . My friend and I were okay when the server asked "How are we doing tonight?" but we thought it strange when he inquired "What are we having for dinner tonight?" As though
perhaps the waiter was joining is???

"The best (and best bargain) brunch in Barracks Row. What a wonderful place to be on a Saturday morning after halloween. Steak and eggs + perfect for the day. The place has a great friendly neighborhood feel. Nice service, excellent steak menu. Simple menu - steak, eggs, french toast, salad, EXCELLENT Bloody Mary. Extremely family friendly and at $23 for brunch - what a deal!"
