DGS Delicatessen features both traditional & modern Jewish cooking in Dupont Circle.
Chef Brian Robinson takes inspiration from the classic delicatessen, while pushing the cuisine in a new and exciting direction. DGS offers 8 day house cured pastrami & corned beef, duck fat matzo balls, handmade pierogis, house cured cold smoked salmon.
DGS believes that delicatessen, German for good eats, comes from the soul of the old World Jewish kitchen. In that spirit, DGS brines, cures, smokes and pickles everything served on premises.
Beverage Director Brian Zipin crafted a beer, wine and cocktail menu amplifying the bold flavors of the delicatessen.

**Please note: Saturday & Sunday Brunch tables are Walk In only**

"Best deli in DC. Best pastrami and corned beef. But be warned, it is so loud upstairs that you'll be screaming to talk."

Located on bustling Washington Circle in the West End, District Commons is anchored by a monumental raw bar and an open hearth oven for flatbreads and savory tarts. A 'Pig Board' of ham and biscuits will showcase a selection of America's finest hams. Chef/Owner Jeff Tunks serves up classic American cuisine in this gorgeous setting. Chili Glazed Duck, Brick Pressed Chicken, Classic Hanger Steak - these choices and more! Freshly baked breads and desserts round out your meal. Try one of our regional American drafts or exquisite wines, or sample from the 99 Beers on the Wall!

"Perfect for pre-Kennedy Center. Ask for one of the booths near the windows. Good vegetarian options which was a pleasant surprise."

"The sweetest spot in Barrack's Row ; always perfect when we want to have a good dinner at a neighborhood restaurant. No crazy scene like some of the other places on the street. Zest delivers a quality dining experience without the fuss. And sometimes that's exactly what we want so we keep coming back. Burgers are great, by the way."

Carmine’s is a family style, value-driven restaurant concept with locations in NYC, NJ, Nassau Bahamas, and Washington DC. Restaurateur Artie Cutler created Carmine’s with one goal in mind: to open a restaurant that would serve every meal in the style of an Italian American wedding feast, featuring extra large portions of home-style antipasto, pastas, seafood and meat entrees served on extra large platters designed for sharing. Carmine’s is the perfect place to casually enjoy friends and family over great food and wine, with excellent service, the way it used to be at grandma’s house.

"Best for groups. So easy to split the family style platters when there are 6 or more at the table. Don't miss the eggplant parmigiana -- it is the best we've ever had."

"This might possibly be the best restaurant in the Mid-Atlantic. It is worth a trip to Rehoboth just to dine at a(MUSE). The sweetbreads are outstanding, scallops the best we've ever had."

"We have never had such an outstanding dinner experience. We tried the four-course tasting menu (reasonably priced at $55) and every course was a wonderful and exciting surprise. We extended our stay in Rehoboth by a day so that we could dine one more time at a(MUSE) before going home. This restaurant is perfect for an adventurous foodie. If basic meat and potatoes are your preference then try someplace else, If you want extraordinary dining this will become your favorite spot."

Bramble & Brine, opened by husband/wife team Megan and Joe Churchman, is a neighborhood gem located in one of Rehoboth"s main street cottages. Originally built in the early 1900's and restored keeping true to its turn of the century charm, the atmosphere is both elegant and inviting. The ever changing, global inspired menu is rich with handcrafted dishes prepared utilizing a fusion of classic and modern techniques. A special chef's menu with meticulously selected wine pairings is available on weekends in a private room for parties of 2 to 12 guests on a first come, reservation only basis and is highly customizable with advanced notice. Antiques throughout the restaurant are offered for sale and provide an engaging setting in what feels like a formal dining room in a home from the past. Be sure to visit the marble top bar for prohibition era cocktails and pour over the extensive wine list. We can't wait to serve you a truly remarkable meal and unique dining experience!

Our mission is to bring you a seasonal menu, rooted in American tradition that showcases the Mid-Atlantic's ingredients. Our produce is organic or sustainable whenever possible; our meats are naturally-raised; our seafood wild or sustainable. We support local artisanal cheese makers, growers, ranchers, fisherman, and encourage you to do the same by buying local at our farmer's market or grocery.
