Alto is a waterside restaurant by Charles Mereday, located in Naples’ luxury Bayfront, on trendy 5th Avenue South. Subtitled "Live, Jazz, Kitchen," Alto recalls a classic supper club of the thirties and forties. Live music will be part of the Alto experience beginning in early March 2014 with musicians of local, national and international recognition performing nightly. No background music and no audio tapes!<br /><br />Though a restaurant and jazz club, cuisine is center stage with Executive Chef Jay Bucklin at the helm of Alto's kitchen.<br /><br />The inspiration for Alto is Philadelphia's landmark Zanzibar Blue, Mereday's first restaurant as executive chef. Zanzibar Blue offered upscale dining and was also a popular jazz club.
