Located at Pelican Hill Golf Club, this restaurant celebrates the best of the California lifestyle with its gorgeous seaside location, delectable menu prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, stylish and comfortable décor, Italian-inspired architecture, terrace with ocean and golf course views, gracious personalized service and sophisticated, yet relaxed bar with nine-foot HDTVs for sports viewing. In the open-display kitchen, Chef Derek Brooks leads the culinary team in creating innovative seafood and steak dishes. Dining al fresco on the terrace, equipped with hidden heaters and sunscreens for year-round comfort, is the quintessential California dining experience. The generous, balanced wine list features mostly California selections and more than 30 wines by the glass. The Tasting Table invites diners to sit right next to the open-concept kitchen in the main dining room for an intimate, chef-led dinner featuring the freshest seasonal ingredients and creative presentations.

The tradition of the South. The sophistication of California cuisine. Vibrant, cosmopolitan energy. Picán is 'Southern...Unleashed!' Full service bar/lounge with hand-crafted cocktails, Southern "twists" and classic standards. The most comprehensive Bourbon portfolio in the Bay Area; a thoughtful selection of wines. An open kitchen serves as focal point in the casually elegant dining room.

Unique Southern flavors: Signature Southern Fried Chicken, Catfish Nantua and VooDoo Shrimp & Grits. Seasonal produce and sustainably sourced meats and seafood. "Ultimate Southern Social Hour." Lunch Favorites: Flavorful salads, Southern Sammies including NOLA Brisket Burger! Brunch Favorites: Beignets, Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict and Bourbon Bloody Mary.

Private, luxurious dining rooms: The Bourbon Room seating up to 28 and Vieux Carré seating 40. Named "Best Overall Oakland Restaurant 2012" by Oakland Magazine.
"So far this is the best Fried Chicken I've had in the bay area. They also gave it a nice touch with the truffle honey. The Lobster Thermador was well done, I expected it to be very rich and it was not. If only they can improve on their wine list and throw in some Vouvray. That was what I brought and it was perfect with this meal."

With a panoramic oceanfront location and modern French cuisine with California influences, Studio is the portrait of beachside indulgence. A refined and inventive menu reflects masterful attention to detail accented with an elegant, creative touch. Ocean breezes, panoramic views and lush landscapes create a refreshing sense of place at the water’s edge and a fitting backdrop for the shared enjoyment of fine food and wine. Menus include à la carte selections of starters, entrées, cheeses and desserts; and a six-course seasonal prix-fixe Chef’s Tasting Menu. The wine list includes more than 2,200 wine labels, an extensive menu of wines-by-the-glass and suggested wine pairings for each dish. Small plates are also offered at the communal table and the turn-of-the-century bar.
Please note that Studio’s dress code does not permit shorts, tennis shoes, open-toed shoes, athletic or beach wear.

Chefs Masaki Sasaki and Hide Sueyoshi are both Tokyo trained sushi chef. They both subscribed to Tokyo (Edomae) sushi-style. The chefs philosophy is to present their sushi in its simplicity. To acquire such state of simplicity, the chefs must go through meticulous steps in preparing the fish. Quite often, many sushi chefs have now neglected such process. When dining at Maruya, sit at the sushi bar. One would immediately notice the Tokyo style sushi bar. Maruya"s sushi bar stands above the rest and it is most likely the first of its kind in the Bay Area. The glass casing usually found in a sushi place is absent. The sushi bar itself is made out of 7 inches of handcrafted Cyprus wood. The wine selection and sake at Maruya were carefully selected. Most of the wines offered at Maruya are either French or Italian wines to complement the fish. For sake lovers, there is a wide range of sake to choose from dry to full body.

This James Beard Award winning restaurant with a clientele as diverse as San Francisco opened in 1979. A vibrant Parisian-style standing-only copper bar greets you as you enter on Rose Alley. Zuni's menu changes daily with dishes inspired by traditional Italian and French recipes. Nearly all of the produce, meat, and fish served at Zuni is farmed and harvested in a sustainable manner. Even without a reservation, bar tables are available on a first come, first served basis and the full menu is available. The bar also serves traditional cocktails made with top-shelf ingredients; refreshments at its best in an environment of effortless hospitality. Whether you dine early or prefer to dine after theater, Zuni is a welcoming haven. -Judy Rodgers, chef/co-owner -Gilbert Pilgram, co-owner
