"We had a large group, so we decided to make a reservation for the T&R Supper with goat, which you have to do at least a week in advance. We were in for such a treat! The service was amazing and the dinner even better. It started with a delicious charred lettuce salad and continued into the main course - a wonderful goat hand-picked just for us and lovingly slow cooked for over 24 hours, along with amazing roasted carrots and cous cous sides. The sauces that came with it were also divine. The wine kept flowing and the service was impeccable - we all had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!"

Farmshop, opened in 2010, is a Restaurant and an Artisanal Market & Bakery located in the historical 1948 Brentwood Country Mart on 26th Street in Santa Monica. <br /><br />Jeff Cerciello's cuisine focuses on seasonal local ingredients. Irene Verbila from the LA Times wrote " Sunday nights at Farmshop are devoted to fried chicken… it's the best...but the bird I'm nominating as one of the 10 Best Meals is Cerciello's organic roasted chicken...golden and crisp, the flesh dense yet moist, each bite was better than the last."<br /><br />In addition to highlighting fresh local produce, Farmshop offers a 300 choice California-centric wine list, a market with curated cheeses, charcuterie, artisanal foods and housewares, all an homage to the many California based farmers, producers and purveyors we are proud to showcase.

"Farmshop is the embodiment of Farm to Table. A simple and clean upscale space with rustic touches. Precise and unintrusive service. The menu is short but there is something for everyone. For dinner we really enjoyed the fried risotto appetizer and the scallops entree. The jidori chicken was cooked well but a little under-seasoned. I also love their brunch; the coddled egg dish is to die for. And there is always the fun of browsing the marketplace after your meal, finding artisan cheeses, seasonings, desserts and other treats. Always a good time at Farm Shop."

We’re located in the heart of Old Town El Segundo. We offer the experience of simple elegance and serve up what we refer to as American fare with flair. We offer a casual yet upscale atmosphere and are perfect for first dates, happy hour with friends, and even business meetings. <br />

"Great value; I think most places of this caliber would go for the $25 dineLA lunch menu but here it was only $15. You got one app and an entree for that price, both really good sizes. The food is tasty, modern, and well made but not too innovative. I really enjoyed my gorgonzola tomato bisque and my friends enjoyed their caprese and kale salad appetizers. My calamari salad entree I was less thrilled about; everything was well made but didn't really make sense together and the calamari were underseasoned. But my friends seemed to really enjoy their dishes - the blackened tilapia was perfect and the burger was promptly inhaled. I recommend this place if you're in El Segundo but wouldn't go out of my way to eat there."

"Steingarten is a nice little neighborhood place with amazing rotating and fixed beer menus, thorough whiskey offerings, and an interesting cocktail menu that I have never sampled because the beer options are just too good to pass up. Their grass-fed yet reasonably priced burgers are juicy and really tasty. I had two of their sausages, lamb (great) and elk (meh) and the rolls they come on are delicious. A lot of sausage selections ranging from familiar (all beef kosher) to exotic (alligator, game). The ambiance is really special, indoor are communal tables and a cozy atmosphere, and the outdoor patio is beautiful with ample seating and a nice fireplace you can sit around. Highly recommended for a casual dinner in the neighborhood."
