La1960's Reviews

Mo-chica is a vibrant, urban restaurant serving Chef Ricardo Zarate’s modern interpretations on traditional Peruvian comfort food. Mo-chica was born in May 2012—a large, industrial-esque restaurant with vibrant-hued walls tagged with graffiti (thanks to local artist Kozem), whimsical touches; an urban-artsy space serving modern takes on traditional Peruvian comfort food.

"Excellent ceviche and everything else we got was just as good. Our waiter Jason was charming and professional. He brought out a little tray of 3 cookies with a candle on it since he knew we were celebrating my birthday. A very nice touch!! Will definitely go back."

Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, only blocks from Staples Center, Nokia Theater, and Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA features a 24-7 Restaurant for around-the clock breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Executive Chef, Chang Sivilay offers his signature fun and palate pleasing twist to traditional classics. Craft cocktails, the famous Burger of the Week, daily specials and an extensive yet affordable wine list complete the superb dining experience. The staff is quintessential LA at its best. The setting, half-indoors and half-outdoors for terrace dining, is a throwback to 1950's glamour. Perfect for a quick business lunch, lingering dinner experience or a relaxed weekend boozy brunch. End your Restaurant experience with a visit poolside for cocktail on the spectacular Rooftop Bar. Keep in mind, however, that the highly popular Rooftop Bar does not take reservations and has limited capacity.

River Rock restaurant and bar is located at the historic Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City. It features a lodge inspired menu including trout, duck and steaks. Set by our famous trout ponds (rumored to be where John Wayne taught his kids to fish) River Rock is a transporting restaurant and bar where you can escape the typical dining scene and "travel" to a cabin in the woods. Join us on Saturday and Sunday for brunch, or any night for dinner.

"My NY steak was excellent as was the pork chop and mashed potatoes. We were a party of 9 and I think the waitress was a little overwhelmed, but we did get eveything we ordered. We strolled the grounds afterwards and the ponds are very charming in the evening."
