"We eat at bistro 14 each year on our annual ski trip to vail. It is a perfect spot for lunch before your last run. While the food is good, it was not as good as we remembered. The burger was good but not outstanding. The starter nachos needed a big more heat (ask for jalapeños). The chicken pot pie and onion soup are still fabulous. The service is fast and friendly. Worth a lunch while your on the mountain. You won't be disappointed."

Voted #1 in Colorado by Zagat Survey, Sweet Basil has been a must for travelers and locals alike since 1977. The cuisine is creative contemporary American utilizing many cultural influences from around the world. Located in the heart of Vail Village, the restaurant blends fine dining with a captivating "bistro-like" energy.

"We had out annual dinner here on our ski vacation. The food was as good as we remembered as was the service. The lemon grass soup was superb. The ahi tuna was delicious. The lamb chops were excellent. The sommelier helped us chose a white and a red that pleased everyone. A must go for dinner in Vail."
