From the team behind Ripple in Cleveland Park, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Roofers Union, a new restaurant now open in Adams Morgan. The menu at Roofers Union will showcase chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley's take on casual tavern fair inside a neighborhood restaurant and bar.

The bar program will focus on craft beers and cocktails as well as 10 to 12 wines by the glass on a moderately priced list from around the world.

A cozy and relaxed first level houses a cocktail-centric bar with 24 seats, while the main level features floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the restaurant with natural light and of Adams Morgan’s bustling 18th Street. The vibrant dining room will offer full service with a range of seating options including a revamped 20- seat bar, tables for large groups, and banquets.
"On top of bad service, the menu is literally stupid--from what's on it-- 'gee do I want a sausage or a sandwich for dinner?--/' to the obtuse and pretensions way things are written. The beer list is interesting, but again, it takes about ten minutes of reflection before you can figure out what you want due to the stupid order things are written in. And overpriced-- $75 for a sausage with flavorless potato chips, a BLT (soggy because of an egg) with gross supermarket fries, two speciality cocktails (not good) and two beers. In fact, in keeping with the restaurants identity, we won't be so stupid as to ever go back."
