"An unfortunate combination of poor acoustics and a couple of large, rowdy parties made the noise level on the second floor actually painful. That was a shame because everything we had, from the scallops to the salad special to the ravioli was really, really good. I felt bad for our server who was working very hard but had to deal with noise complaints from several tables. It sounded like a Super Bowl party at a frat house. We would have loved to stay for coffee and dessert but couldn't take the noise. Somebody dimmed the lights, possibly to encourage guests to tone it down but that didn't work. I've been here several times before and never heard it like this. I think that it might be better to come during the week or off season."

"Chat has become my favorite summer brunch spot. The service is excellent; pleasant yet unobtrusive. The range of options is large covering both breakfast and lunch. My favorite is the Eggs Florentine. The breezes flow through the outside patio and umbrellas keep the sun at bay. Iced coffee and cappuccino keep you cool. A+ in my book."

"Service was exceptional at our recent brunch. The outdoor patio is a lovely place to have a meal. There is plenty of shade and the breezes just waft right through keeping you cool and comfortable. Our omelet and fish wrap were excellent; the waffle was a bit chewy; the fruit was perfect. I think that this is our new favorite brunch spot."

"The interior of Club Car is very attractive. We were fortunate enough to be seated next to the side door on a beautiful day and it was like sitting outside. The brunch selection was good, ranging from individual cereal boxes to satisfy the numerous children at the restaurant to eggs Benedict, French toast, custom omelets and a carving station. My favorites were the raw bar with very fresh clams, oysters and steamed shrimp, and the dessert bar with lovely small sweets. I would have liked to see more fruit than just the apple and melon salad but no one will leave here hungry. Our server was very pleasant, professional and attentive. My latte was excellent even if it wasn't included in the $39 buffet."
