No visit to Sedona is complete until you've experienced the fragrant aromas and delectable flavors of the award-winning L'Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek. Offering the finest Mediterranean inspired American cuisine, the restaurant provides guests a sophisticated creekside dining experience either outdoors on the open air terrace, weather permitting, or indoors in our glass fronted dining room. Executive Chef Rochelle Daniel's menu features items and themes that change seasonally. Recipient of Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" for 19 consecutive years, Sedona's L'Auberge Restaurant boasts one of the largest and most refined selections of vintage wines.

"We went here when we were vacationing in Sedona; the setting is exceptionally beautiful and the service was really excellent; everyone who helped us was extremely professional, while also friendly and approachable. The food was definitely good, though some items were certainly better than others and the descriptions for some were a bit lacking. We asked our waitress to suggest wine pairings (which she had to come up with herself, since the menu didn't already include them, which was a bit strange) and she did an excellent job, choosing wines that paired with each of our courses from the "by the glass" menu. Overall just a lovely meal and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area."

Driven by a passion for market-inspired ingredients and classic French cooking techniques, Florent and Amelia Marneau have created a truly modern French bistro in the heart of Orange County. For decades, the couple worked separately in some of the best kitchens in France and Orange County. With Marché Moderne, they have followed this natural evolution by combining their culinary careers as independent restaurateurs. The contemporary French Bistro which has been critically acclaimed since its opening in spring of 2007, is located at The Penthouse at South Coast Plaza, level three, adjacent to Nordstrom.

"... which isn't a good place to start. We found this place online (as we were visiting from out of town), thought it looked nice; but when the driver dropped us off at a mall, we were off to a bad start. We did the tasting menu with the wine pairings; the food was good, though not great. The most disappointing part was that the server barely explained any of the food we were being served or the wines we were drinking... hearing about what you're being served (and why, with the pairings) is a major part of doing a tasting menu. Honestly, just felt it was overpriced for the experience; thank goodness I had excellent company in my dining companion."

"We headed here for an early dinner prior to a Caps game. Food was very good; plenty of options for both grown-ups and kids (who all love the tater tots!) and a solid beer selection. I do enjoy the setting; service was friendly and professional... I'll be back!!!"
